| Rita Caves Arriving at the library, Rita nodded when Ayame pointed out where to go. Separating from her, Rita looked around the many shelves of the library. However, she was having a somewhat difficult time finding something she liked. Rita eventually found a novel and went back to the table Ayame had indicated. She must have taken quite a bit of time, for Ayame was already sitting down reading her book when she returned. Taking a seat, she asked in a low voice. "So, what did you choose?" |
| Ayame Maki Ayame smiled as she noticed Rita came, and sat down next to her. She closed her book, and held out the cover so Rita could read it. "It's a guide on mythical creatures." she said, again speaking a little too loud for the situation. Ayame put the book back down on the table, and continued. "I thought it would be interesting, because animals are my favorite thing in the world. What did you get?" |
| Rita Caves "Interesting choice." Rita said quietly as she scanned the front cover of the book. As Ayame had said, the book was a guide on mythical creatures. The cover itself was filled with them. "Well, I am glad you found something you like." Rita smiled at Ayame and brought up her own book. "As for me, I picked up a novel." As she showed Ayame the cover, Rita quickly read the blurb on the back, since she did not know about the book, as she had chosen at random. "It is about a group of travelers that go on a journey to find a sacred object, but end up discovering more about themselves along the way." Rita said. Waiting for Ayame's response, she placed the book back down on the table. |
| Ayame Maki "Oh, that sounds kind of cool. I wish it had a picture on the cover like my book though." Ayame said, before continuing to read her book. She was enjoying it, and especially liked that parts that dealt somewhat with animals she already knew about. "Do you usually read those kinds of books Rita?" she added, taking a moment to pause from her book to talk. She still was talking too loud than you normally would in a library. |
| Rita Caves Rita was a bit confused about why Ayame found pictures on books interesting. To her, books were always about words. After all, that's what they are for, right? Brushing that thought aside, Rita looked as Ayame read her book. As she was about to start reading her own, Ayame asked her a question. Rita noticed Ayame's tone was a bit too loud for what the library called for, but was a bit hesitant to tell her to lower her voice. "Not really. Fantasy is not a genre I read a lot. I prefer mystery and sci-fi." Rita answered in a low voice. "But I read plenty of romance novels. Although that is a secret." she added with a nervous grin. |
| Ayame Maki "I don't really like those kinds of stories, excluding romance." she said, lowering her voice to match Rita. It seemed that it had finally clicked that she was not supposed to talk as loud. "But if you could have grabbed one of those kinds of books, why'd you grab that one." she asked, her face showing her curiosity. It seemed weird someone who had the option to get something they wanted, would not do it, or at least that is what Ayame thought. |
| Rita Caves "I kinda felt that a change of pace was needed. I had just finished several romance novels before I came to Mirai High. So I chose this novel because I barely read the genre." Rita replied as she began to read her novel. Having noticed Ayame lower her voice, Rita smiled. |
| Ayame Maki Seeing Rita begin to read her novel, Ayame went back to her book. As she flipped through the pages, she made a variety of different expressions as she reacted to the different things in her book. Anytime she saw something that she thought was truely amazing, she would quickly show it to Rin, giving her a brief explanation. Even though she never did like reading that much, she was enjoying her time with this book. |
| Rita Caves Focusing on her book, Rita read on silently. She would every once in a while peek over to Ayame, who seemed to be deeply engrossed in her book, as she put on many different expressions. Grinning at the sight, Rita returned her attention to the book she was reading. In the novel, the story had progressed to an interesting point that she found highly interesting. |
| Ayame Maki Ayame finished her book in a relatively short amount of time. Granted, her book was covered in picture, with at most a paragraph for each entry, so it was not as impressive as it might have seemed. She got up, and went to go put it away. After she did that, she went back to the table and sat down. She waited patiently for Rita to finish her book, not knowing how long it would take. |
| Rita Caves Rita found herself very focused on the novel she was reading. Far enough to the point that she barely saw Ayame leave and return. Once she saw her sit down, Rita decided to read faster. "It would be rude to keep her waiting because of me." she thought as she flipped a page. About 10 minutes later, she was finally done with the book. "I am done." Rita said as she stood up and put the book back in its place. Returning, she sat down, looking at Ayame expectantly. |
| Ayame Maki Ayame was half asleep by the time Rita had finished her book. If Rita had not announced that she was done, Ayame would have fallen asleep. Once Rita came back, Ayame began to talk. "So how'd your book end? Did you like it?" she asked, obviously curious. She again was speaking a little louder than she probably should have. |
| Rita Caves "Well, it was actually very good." Rita said as she prepared to tell Ayame a bit more about it. She smiled a little when she noticed Ayame's louder voice. "Seems she's really interested in knowing about what I read." After thinking about it for a bit, she began speaking in the usual low voice. "After going through many trials, the heroes did end up discovering the sacred object they were looking for. But by that time, they had found things much better than that. Friends, family, happiness, and love." Rita said as she leaned on her chair a little. Looking at Ayame, she decided to ask her about the book she read. "So what about you? Learn anything interesting?" Leaning forward, Rita grinned and awaited for her response. |
| Ayame Maki "Yeah, but it's not like any of those things actually exist. Like have you ever seen a griffon?" she said, smiling. Then a thought came across her mind. She jumped out of her seat, looking at Rita. "Wait a minute! It would be so cool if they existed! Like think of all the cool stories a hydra could tell m- us!" she exclaimed very loudly. She was clearly excited at the prospect. It did not seem like it mattered for the moment that it would never happen. |
| Rita Caves Ayame's excitement made her laugh a bit more than it should have. "Calm down a little." she said in a caring tone. Rita did not want to be kicked from the library. Although it would really not matter. "Although considering the fact that this school exists, I think anything is possible. Hydras and griffons may very well exist in some obscure part of the world. I would not be surprised much." Rita said in a cheery tone as she crossed her legs. |
| Ayame Maki Ayame could not calm down hearing Rita say there would be a possibility that those things actually existed. "You really think so!?" she exclaimed. The excitement was hardly contained. She was practically jumping up, and down off the walls. |
| Rita Caves Rita could not help but grin at Ayame's excitement. Standing up, she went to her and placed her hands on Ayame's shoulders. "Now now. Calm down a little. We don't want to cause a ruckus here, do we." Rita said in a low voice as she dragged Ayame to the chair she was sitting in, vaguely aware of the stares they were getting from some of the students in the library. Sitting besides her, she said. "But I really do think so. Perhaps we can find some one day." she said with a smile. |
| Ayame Maki Ayame looked embarrassed as Rita pointed out she was causing trouble. "I'm sorry..." she said with an apologetic tone. She really did not mean to disturb anyone else. "Then I can talk to it, so it knows we come in peace." she said in a more quiet tone. Despite what had just happened, she still seemed very happy and excited. |
| Rita Caves Rita found Ayame's embarrassed expression somewhat cute. Grinning, she said. "It's okay." As Ayame mentioned what she would if she met one, Rita could not help but turn her grin into a smile. "It would be interesting to know what they think about. Probably similar things to everyone else, considering even trees think like us." she said as she laughed a little. |
| Ayame Maki This whole conversation just showed how much of a kid Ayame still really was. She was getting excited over impossibilities, because to her, everything that Rita was saying was a fact. "For most of them, except the mean ones. The mean ones probably think about mean things." she added, still practically jumping up and down in her chair. |
| Rita Caves "They probably would." Rita replied casually to Ayame's comment as she jumped up and down. It was no doubt an interesting, if amusing sight to see. Deciding that perhaps it was time to move on, Rita stood up from her chair and turned to Ayame. "I think we're done here, no? I wonder where we should go next...." she wondered in a thoughtful tone. |
| Ayame Maki "I don't know... I'll just follow you, okay?" she replied. She stood up as well, the eyes of nearby students locked on to her again. They most likely thought she was going to cause another ruckus. The staring made Ayame a little nervous. "Let's just get out into the hallways first." she deicded, grabbing Rita's hand, and Rin with the other. She lead them outside into the hallway. (You got next post) |
| Megumi After walking through the halls, she ended up in front of the library. She entered and looked around for an empty table to sit at. Once she found a spot, she went and put the bags she was holding on the table top. She sat down and took out the contents of the bag. She took out a cute letter set and a sparkly gel pen to write with. She looked up for a minute, just thinking about what to write. After she got a good idea, she quickly went to writing. |

| Megumi After a while, she finished writing. She looked down at the letter she wrote and stared at it for a minute. Something's missing.... She kept staring at it until she got an idea. She picked up her pen agin and drew a chibi version of Melody on the corner. There, that should do it. She folded the letter and put it in the envelope before sealing it with a cute rabbit sticker. On the back side of the envelope, she wrote 'To: Shinya From: Melody'. Once she was completely done with the letter, she put all the supplies back in the bag. When she cleaned up, she got up and took everything with her and left the library. Alright. That's done. Now on to the next task... |

| Yuki Shimizu Yuki woke up and noticed he fell asleep in the library. He remembered what happened before he fell asleep, but not how he fell asleep. He decided he would go to the outer field to get some air. (leaves to the Outer Field) |
