Shouldn't this be marked as 13 episodes?

I say it because the first episode is in reality two episodes that were broadcasted at the same time on TV, but they are divided in DVD, Bluray and even officially. So, shouldn't Owarimonogatari be marked as 13 episodes because of this?

So that's why I was confused by the episode numbering! While this explains that riddle, I do agree that it should be marked as 13 since otherwise it can be really misleading.

i think so, cause episode 1 was divided into 2 episodes. Basically it should have 13 episodes
