I think it will be a good historical-adventure anime, I'm looking forward to it. I expect a wonderful seiyuu cast.

History, politics... if it has good characters, this will be a great show.

/Wonders how the characters will look, I've played Dynasty Warriors for ages so I've seen the characters faces in that but their probably gonna look different in this.

Yeah.

And

Is this in anyway connected to this Romance of Three Kingdoms

or is it entirely different?

This looks like a more serious version of the Three Kingdoms (unlike Koihime Musou)... I wonder if it'll be historically accurate or more faithful to the book. Anyways, I was thinking of picking this up, but I don't like long anime (but then again, it would be a disgrace to the story if the anime is only 12 or 13 episodes long)

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

You guys realize that this is Chinese "anime" done with the help of a Japanese company. I predict this is going to be very educational and very dry, being able to be broadcast on CCTV8. Just to warn you guys not to be disappointed. And about the language it will use, I am doubting if this is going to be in CHINESE with..ahem...Chinese voice actors....

Actually because the LACK of information on this "anime", I just don't know if this is going to be more like a Japanese anime or a Chinese "anime". From the trailer I viewed on CCTV8, it looks like a hybrid between the two. And for those who aren't familiar with Chinese anime "a bit more serious", well, think of World Masterpiece Theater ten years ago, and you'll get a pretty good idea.

After all, the story itself is based on CHINESE history so Chinese have the right to try an "anime" on it. But it's just that I'm not very fond of the Chinese animation industry for various reasons..... less when CCTV is all over it and a big EDUCATIONAL vibe it has....

Here is the first episode in Chinese!

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

On MAL, everyone who has used the lame rating system becomes a critic and an intellectual by default, haven't you heard?
