| This episode was so beautiful and poignant, I wasn't ready for it. Mao's part was the heart here, at least to me. The way her mother must have felt knowing that she was going to die, the way Mao must have felt after she realized that the last thing she said to her mother was "I hate you." It was just full of emotion, and the way we end up saying "sorry" when we could be saying "thank you," it hit a bit too close to home. Shaymin is also really cute, and Mao is the only one with only one Pokémon so I was hoping it would stay with her, but being a Mythical one I don't see it happening, it will just fly away when the time comes... But really, great episode. |

| One of the first Pokemon episodes to bring me near tears. Mallow's scene with her mom was so well done and so emotional (they tied Shaymin into it pretty well, even though it doesn't make sense as to why it's there LOL). And the scenes with Stoutland...agh my heart! Really excited to continue to Aether family story line. I'm really hoping Gladion, Lusamine, and Lillie at some point reunite with Mohn. (As heartwarming as it'd be to have Mohn regain his memories, I'm more partial to having the end result be that interaction between Mohn and Lusamine in the extra scene in Ultra Sun and Moon) Also, is it just me, or do I feel like Gladion is going to be the first one to reunite with Mohn? I mean, I don't think it would be just Gladion going off to tell Lusamine unless if some big thing in the plot is coming up. Because don't you think Lillie might like to go with him and look for her father too? So I think Gladion may be the first one to meet Mohn again...maybe something happens to Gladion or he gets injured and washes up on the shores of the Poke Pelago? Don't forget that in episode 105 he brushed Ash's question (about if he could train with him) off rather quickly. I mean, I know he's a loner and all that, but just from his character in the anime and games, I'd assume he'd at least let Ash finish his sentence. Especially since he provided no reasoning or even simply saying something like "sorry, but I want to be entirely focused on this training". Something's fishy about Gladion...ooooo maybe he joined Team Skull off screen? I know he's not a member in the anime, but in the game, that was honestly a big part of character development for him. ("I know I'm a part of Team Skull and you probably won't trust me, but please protect Lillie and Cosmog.") I really want to see him as a member! Maybe him being a part of Team Skull will become a big plot point in this series? Maybe it'll finally show us when Gladion rescued Silvally in the past? Then, for whatever reason they give Gladion for joining (since the Cosmog and Lusamine arc is over), it might play into whatever the big decisive finale (Sort of like Alain's alliance with Team Flare--how he didn't even realize that him using Mega Evolution was him inadvertently helping them. Then it was a big "oh my gosh, what have I done?" sort of moment.) I'd LOVE to see something like this. (Also poor Umbreon LOL. Gladion's first ever Pokemon doesn't get enough screentime. Wish we could see more of it!) |

| damn i was prepared for this one...a triple whammy of Stoutland, Mallow's mom, and that brief moment with Hapu's gramps its not often to have an ultra rare legendary pokemon be in someone's care, Mallow with Shaymin in this care now im curious about Lillie and Gladion's pops |
| As beautifully as this was done, all I can think about is whether Shaymin’s appearance was just poignant or a little hint for gen 4 remakes... Probably the former but I can hope... |
| Yeah, its really and tearful episdoe to be, but one more thing about this episode contains a lot of death references so i am guessing that TPCi will either ban this episode or just edit the scene and dialouge to avoid any death references for the dub. :( |

I think that Ash's dad is possibly an Pokemon Master, so i am guessing this is why Ash's dad is from far and far away from the region that serves as the last generation and the last installment of Pokemon franchise . |

| Holy fuck a random Shaymin all the way in Alola. Brought back good Sinnoh memories... So sweet Mallow got to make up with her mom, and the cherry on top: she gets to take home the Gratitude pokemon! Such a cute little thing, one of my favorite legendaries. |
| the story in this one just praised with every minute. mao's meeting with her mother was tearful. and now ash finally have a clear goal in the poni island. |
| A beautiful episode to close this year 2023 So far there have been 108 episodes watched (4 episodes watched per day) and I should finish the Alola region soon at the beginning of January 2024 |

| Damn ... for how light and cheerful S&M has been most of the time they sure like to hit us hard with episodes like these. Honestly it deserves some praise for being able to tackle death because not many other Pokemon entries have done that. Mallow getting to say a proper goodbye and thanking her mother definitely hit me. It was so sweet to see Stoutland again and Torracat showing off it's newest moves and even learning one. Beautiful imagery aswell and now Mallow has the legendary Pokemon Shaymin. |
