In today's episode, Suiren fishes a freaking Kyogre, deal with it.

Due to the troublesome situation, Brionne evolved into Cure Mermaid Primarina, good episode for that.

Pretty cool episode. Out of nowhere a Pokémon Hunter appeared with his lackeys following a weakened Kyogre to where Suiren and Satoshi were. You know, just everyday stuff. It's a pity Suiren didn't catch the Kyogre after reeling it, but I guess it really was too big of a fish to take home. xD But she finally met it, and Oshamari's evolution into Ashirene was great!

When i heard the question: "which of these i will fish today" i didnt even consider Kyogre as an option by how unbeliavable it looked... but smh...

Suiren fished a fucking Kyogre.

Well her joke about fishing up Kyogre actually came true. It was really touching that she finally achieved her dream of meeting it

I was hoping we would get to see it's Primal form from ORAS, but oh well

in start i thought we are gonna get an ORAS adaption for the primal form, in the end we get a fun storyless action episode :D

The episode itself was quite fun, although Kyogre doesn't really have a reason to be there, he just kinda appears out of nowhere. I like that Suiren finally saw it in front of her own eyes and even "caught" it.

The reason I am actaully writing this comment is that I want to rant a little about the international dubs.

This episode made me want to switch over to the original dub, as I was watching the German one (which, like most other languages, is based on the English one). I'm sick of Ed Goldfarb BGM... At times, it's fitting. But most of the time it's unnecessary and rather annoying (Good thing that not all tracks are exchanged, mostly battle music stays the same, I suppose). The Japanese BGM is there when it needs to be, and when it's there it's ten times better than what we overseas get. The anime has its quiet moments which don't need music but in the international dubs you barely find scenes without it. And original tracks for darker scenes mostly get changed and become more "playful" if you know what I mean. It feels like there must be no track that can sound too dangerous for like five-year-olds. The international music that plays during Kyogre's rain feels totally out of place and way too upbeat.
Then there's also some minor censorship in this ep. Namely Suiren's face underwater. Her eyes are open the whole time instead of pressed together which appearantly looked too much like she's about to drown. But it's whatever.
Then there's Ashirene's (Primarene) singing... oh boy. I actually went through some other dubs as well. Let's start with the best one. Japanese: Beautiful opera-like voice, very good job. English: A little more edited, kinda good, actually. Most other dubs have the English one. French: eh, okay. German: ABYSMAL, my ears are bleeding. Maybe that makes for a funny YouTube video, I don't know. Apart from some stuff like this, the German dub is actually quite bearable... if it wasn't for the stinky BGM.

This was the 2nd worst treatment a Legendary/Mythical Pokemon got so far in the whole series and definitely one of the worst SM episodes. Thanks for the guy who upped this thread so I can just say that.

but it's cool to see Brionne's digievolution to primarina due to kyogre to save Suiren
