Why the low score?

This is one of my favorite shows of the season, it seems criminally underrated. Some shows I can understand why I might like them and other might not, but I'm genuinely curious as to what people don't like about Granbelm?

I think it's due to the story and how people expected the story to turn out. From what I've heard viewers don't like the design of the mechs which is basically a chibi-fied gundam. They expected something cooler and not cuter. Also, the first episode felt a bit rushed while the 2nd episode felt a bit slow so people didn't like the story pacing. Of course, that's just my guess.

P.S. I really enjoy Granbelm I love the chibi gundam mecha designs and the story, It's turning out to be the surprise anime of the season for me!

Just speaking for myself, by the end of the first episode I noticed that I didn't really like any of the characters. No matter how much I like the other aspects of a show, it's almost impossible for it to recover for me after I notice something like that.

I'm absolutely loving this series. Mecha design, characters, art style and all. Definitely think this is a hidden gem this season.

Most likely because certain people didn't liked it cause they have a different taste hence they decided to give it a lower score. Instead of obsessing over score just enjoy the show it does not matter in the slightest.😊

tbh I think a 6~7 is fitting for this show. It's not AMAZING but it is pretty decent.
