Liking one series/movie/book/etc. with anthro animal characters, or a character therefrom, does not make you a furry. If you like a many such works, enough to establish a pattern, and the use of animals is part of the appeal, then yeah, you're probably a furry.

(I am reminded of online debates about whether being a brony makes one a furry. In my opinion, if it's just MLP, then no it does not.)

I'm still amused by furry-ism in Japan. Do they call it being a furry? Who knows. Also identifying as furry is one different thing entirely.

In Japan they have kemono I guess lol, it's kinda different though they don't have fursonas as such more just a ton of oc. More of a hobby around art and independent comics as I hear.

you liking the show in that way does not make you a furry unless you want to be and that goes with everybody else that says this after watching it..also I do want to say why are people hating on the whole furry community?? they are not all bad just because they have some bad apples in their group?? I have met a few of them and they are really nice, to be honest noting like a lot of people make them out to be so I think people need to chill out on that a lot. Also on the fetish on it some if not most people make it seem like the fetish part they are after bestiality or something which is not true. by the way. when they see people like that (or pedos) they snitch them out really fast and attack those people as everybody else do but out of any fetish I have heard I think there is a very bad one that everybody should be more worried about then the whole furrys thing
