| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Closing the loop of both King Kyle and Illya's sides with Maria's backstory, but it reeks the show's troupe of the reminiscence of dragging time out for plot convenience (at least for the 1st half). Oh well, after 23 episodes, this has finally come full circle with Lua's prophecy and Malduk's Lea demonkin (that is explained by the opening narration). To save or kill a former parent and close kin, only Kasel can make that judgement as the Holy Sword beacons its calling with the final seal removed. The set-up episodes are done, now's the time of the cliché fight between good and evil. |

| So we finally have the full story of what happened 100 years ago. I feel bad for Maria. She was nothing but loyal to Lua and to Kyle and yet still got betrayed. She deserves a happy ending. I also feel bad for Illya. She saved those people’s lives at the cost of her own and they didn’t even stop to check on her lmao wtf. Now that the final seal has been removed, we’ve got the perfect set up for the final battle between father and son. I’m really excited to see how this ends. |

| The 100 years invasion looked worst than this invasion. After all needed the Elfs and Orcs to fight. Maria backstory was weird. The not corresponded love and kinda blaming Lua for that is meh. The sword power could be just to seal the demon lord, or lost power because of the darkness dome. And Ilya death, blame the villagers that were outside during DAMN night. And be so sour to disregard Kyle final words. I almost thought at the end Maria would say "I killed you mother" to Kasel. If was Frey in the battle 100 years ago, she would be supporting the fighter, than failing in as Divine Intervention check |

| We finally get the full story about what happened 100 years ago. It was quite the story but i enjoyed it cause it needed to be explained more. The party is now set on to get the Holy Sword Aea. |

| It took me some time (like almost six months) to notice this but the goddess' sword is cool as hell. Janextheo02 said: I don't like this episode very much because many important details have been deleted and changed, why should I do it, the original is better and more reasonable. Well, everything you wrote is very interesting, but now that we're approaching the finale you should just consider Ishi wo Tsugumono-tachi as a simpler alternative timeline, a ''what if'' scenario if you will, that way you won't be bothered by the more straightforward plot and plainer world lore. |
| Full backstory. Its from Maria's perspective. Even the oped had a slightly changed to fit the mood. Her situations was kinda similar to Frey and Kasel relations. The different place between them at how Maria's feeling was so bold, Maria truly fell in love to the young king. I wonder if their fate also sealed in the same situations too, and made them both fell into the darkness side. However, remember, the dark elf Riheet is still alive to give a great contribution to cut off those darkness-light hostilities and greediness cycle. But, how? Lets see the race against the time to reclaim the holy sword! Also, it was such a bullshit Illya died like that. How unfortunate her life was back there. Okay backstory afterall .... |

| The final pieces of the events that happened 100 years ago has been shown from Maria's perspective and...its aight. Illya died in one of the most lamest tropes we always see in anime, damn you useless child. Also it's weird how the Holy Sword lost its power in such a VERY CRITICAL moment. And all hope of Maria to the goddess Lua is lost, and she became a Demon as a reward. Let us now commence to the final 3 episodes of the show. Pavel now opens the seal to the Holy Sword, and a race commences of who will get to it first, Malduk or Kasel. And hopefully he and Riheet unites to finally take down the Demon Lord Angmund (Kyle?). |

| I feel bad for Maria. She loved Kyle but Kyle loved another person. She has faith in Lua but Lua betrayed her faith. She waited for her friend, Ilya to give her the device that can protect Kyle but her friend did not arrive because she was dead. Cant blame her to lose faith in Lua and became a demon. |
| So Lua took away her blessing at the final moment which is why Kyle couldn't kill the demon lord and Maria lost her faith in Lua. Wonder why the blessing was taken away. Kasel's final seal is now unlocked. Time to take the holy sword and hopefully this time they can finish what King Kyle couldn't. |

| The story is really picking up pace and I'm genuinely interested. So Kasel is going to have to face his father, who has now become the new dark lord after being stuck in the dimensional rift for 100 years with the dark lord and his evil influence. Am hoping they stick the ending in the final few episodes. Bit surprised at such a low score (5.59 atm), i think it's much better than other generic fantasy shows based on games like Shironeko: Zero Chronicle that I've seen in recent seasons. So many cute characters, Princess Scarlet, the forest elves Selene & Lorraine and dark elves, Ilya & Ripine, Maria and not forgetting Frey & Demia. I can't decide between them which one is best girl, probably Scarlet. |

| Sad to see Maria with her one-sided love trying to save Kyle by joining the dark side (although I find Ilya's story much more tragic considering she is pretty much hated by everyone even her own race all because nobles disliked her). |
