| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Some high quality JC Staff right here, the kind that earned it a reputation as a historical studio. Animation is fluid, wide range of colours and lightings, the character design is appealing, stills and backgrounds are detailed. Really liked the atmosphere of the prologue. And we had some plot elements presented with the characterization. This could be great. |

| decent first episode, I like the visuals, some of the gags where amusing and how the main character is voiced by Showtaro Morikubo. |
| Been meaning to watch this for months. I watched a couple of the OPs and that won me over. I really like the style, it has an old school feel to it. Reminds me of when I first got into anime with Escaflowne and the like. A pretty funny start, the peeping tom thing cracked me up when Cleao looked out the window and saw Orphen with the binoculars. Only thing I'm not really sold on is the voice acting. Majic's voice is throwing me off, he sounds more girly than Cleao. I do like Orphen's voice though, I could definitely feel those early Showtaro vibes from it. |

| I can't believe how anyone can accuse the nice birdwatcher Orphen of being a peeping tom. Looks interesting so far especially in the comedy department and also seeing Orphen dealing with some big creature (Bloody August) from the get-go |
