Persona games and the shows are standalone, you can play in any order provided you don’t, say, start with the second persona 3 movie for example

Correct, although the games are far superior. Particularly for persona 5, the anime isn’t too good

My personal suggestion for the anime, is to go backwards!
Persona 5 the animation
Persona 4 the animation
And, the Persona 3 movies
The stories themselves don’t revolve around one another (ex: you don’t need to watch 3 to understand 4)
The best way to enjoy this series is through the games, but, like myself, if you chose to watch the anime first, this order is probably the most enjoyable!
Persona 4 the animation is by far the best of the bunch, enjoy the watch

There is no actual order.

Just watch P3 movies in order and P4A before P4GA and P5A before P5ADA

Has a 8.60 mean score
Akasaka > Other Mangakas

I can't speak for P3 or P4, but you'll get more out of P5 the Animation if you've already played the game first. I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't: there's just too much on the cutting room floor.
