According to the info on this site and on wikipedia, Violence Jack had several serializations from the 70s to the 2000s, but I couldn't find info on the exact years in which each serialization occurred. Is there any info on when exactly Nagai published each part of the manga?

Doesn't need to be on a chapter-specific basis but just saying "arc 1 went from '74 to '75 and arc 2 went from '78 to '80 etc" would be helpful already

Wikipedia says the Kodansha volumes were serialized 1973-1978. The Nihon Bungeisha volumes were serialized 1983-1990.

After little research on the Japanese Wiki and other places, it says that the main series has a total of 31 volumes (the online fan translation is the 18 volumes complete Kanzenban edition, ~2 volumes in 1 volume). There are 3 publication periods July 22, 1973 – December 1978, 7 volumes (arcs 1-4, 6, 8-9). the publication of the arcs (1-3)? in Weekly Shonen Magazine (1973-74) and arcs (4, 6, 8-9)? Monthly Shonen Magazine (1977-78). I don't know for sure but based on the shift in art style it would make sense to be published so, also the order is a little mixed in the collected edition from the original publication. Also, the first 7 volumes aren't one-to-one with the first 7 of the complete edition 31 volumes. And the rest (arcs 5, 7, 10-30) August 5, 1983 – March 23, 1990.

Extra:
Violence Jack Sengoku Majinden, a special one-shot published in December 10, 2001.
Shin Violence Jack, 2 volume series published in May 13, 2005 – April 11, 2008.
Violence Jack 20XX, Ongoing since February 19, 2021. A remake of the original series, Not drawn by Go Nagai.

Thank you! I was trying to organize the reading order of my mangas (in chronological publication order) and wasn't able to figure out how each Violence Jack volume would fit into the timeline. But this certainly helps! I have read most of the manga already, though. But I did feel there were differences in artstyle between the arcs and assumed those were made later on in Nagai's career. Thanks for letting me know that the latter half of the series was all done in the 1980s, this is really helpful. Cheers!

Did you know in wiki there is a option to swap between different language wiki pages. Or you could just copy and paste the Jp title from this website and add wiki to your search. https://ja.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%90%E3%82%A4%E3%82%AA%E3%83%AC%E3%83%B3%E3%82%B9%E3%82%B8%E3%83%A3%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF
