| feel free to chime in if anyone out here's alive! also lots of spoilers because i just wanna talk and no one's texting me back about this manga. in the first half i really wasn't expecting anything, so when You Know Who gets yote i sort of sat still in shock for a moment. like?? you best believe i'm not getting over him at all. and then imagine my surprise when the mc doesn't either. the two parts where she dreams about him (especially that bit in chapter 40-something when she sees his back in their old classroom while he's reading a comic--chefs kiss. poetic cinema. i cried and then saved then saved the page twice.) like fr even as an adult she thinks of him and that's a lot more than most mangas do when the love interest-type dies. she dreams about him twice. twice! the first time was heartbreaking and the second time, in chapter 68 when he just points and she walks forward and cries...i cried too. i love them a lot. and the story's cool too. i appreciate the ending not being another ass pull. ngl tho they really got us in the first half |
