i think what happened is that this is the first bad show, that you didn't enjoy watching. so you started to pick up on all it's flaws, and blocked out all the positives.

i mean there isn't much positive things to look at, but this is really not the worst anime i have seen. the story still has meaningful progression, epic climaxes and it does make sense, most of the times. give that a pretty decent production, and we have a pretty standard bad show.

also the studio just adapts things, they aren't the ones who wrote the story. and i don't think your problem with the show was with it's animation, direction or music.

what i don't get is why did you even watch this? it doesn't seem like you're a fan of etchi, and even if you wanted to try the genre out, i don't get why started with this crap. you should have watched something that is actually good, like interspecies reviewers or some other actually good show.

Why did I watch it? Well, i thought it was just another isekai anime.
Saw it under recommendations of another isekai anime and the name was 'redo of healer' so I thought why not?.
I know another world animes are mostly second grade but this?
I've never understood the concept of stuffing shows with sexual content.
Its even more so with freakin anime.
Who wants to see sexual content in a fkn cartoon style?
If I want to see something like that, there are thousands of websites and with better plot than this redo of garbage.
Why put it in tv shows or animes?
For me, stuffing sexual content is the first sign of lack of quality.
Its done to compensate for lack of quality content.
I literally cringe and sigh whenever there's sexual content in anime but this anime is on a whole another level.
Even the explicit scenes feel like they're there for the sake of it with no fkn logic behind them. Which again proves my own point that it's just to sell hot garbage. Sex sells!
I'm not gonna lie this sht gave me trauma and from now on I'm going to check before venturing out on sht tier animes.

like i said this is the first bad anime that you actually disliked, and you are completely right to have that opinion.

i'm by no means saying this show is good, i think it's garbage. but i have seen worse. the plot still "works" and the music, direction and animation are pretty decent. not to mention the voice acting, which was almost, too good for this kind of show. and some of the deaths are actually kind of creative. again, those things by no means make this good, but it's not THAT bad. it could have been, much, much worse. this is no where near bottom of the barrel.

and about what you said about : why would i want to watch cartoon porn in tv format?

good question!

you don't have too, but there are reasons for why OTHER people do it.

1. story makes it better. redo might have a poorly written story, but it's a STORY, and even if it's not good, it is at least a little interesting. which is already something that 99% of hentai/porn videos don't have. just like how only fans beats real porn because of personality, etchi can also at times stand above hentai for that same reason.

2. the production. most hentai look like dog shit, and compared to most hentai, this is some 10/10 animation. and normally the well animated hentais, are so messed up, they make redo look like spongebob. so that's another factor.

3. it's easier to talk about. there aren't that many places were you can talk about your favorite porn video or hentai, but a movie with sex scenes? or an etchi? there are lots of places to talk about those.
