Probably would take at least 6-8 depending on the length of the arcs going forward. Have only watched what is out so I don't know anything past that really. I really hope we can see the story be done as the anime, but how likely is this ? Especially with the length it could be difficult and I am unsure if it is popular enough or will maintain it enough to reach the conclusion. Would take a long time also, but that is to be expected.

That's what I was thinking the ANIME needs like atleast 4 more season to conclude but depending on how much this series takes for each season (like seriously 3-4 years gape) I think the director as well as the viewers will lose patience , Cause chapters don't come weekly the franchise doesn't get enough source material timely
Example WIT STUDIO started animating VINLAND SAGA after 14 years of MANGA so that they don't run out of material , also VINLAND SAGA MANGA is on its FINAL ARC and so they need only 3 more season to conclude without having any trouble

The Light Novel is ongoing, but time will tell, next year or so, or maybe, yea, you should read it, I heard its Peak

No, it won't. i mean there is a lot of source material available to adapt. But that is exactly the problem too much and too slow (especially considering last season). anime especially seasonal have problem of running out of profit as it goes on. U wont get five more season especially considering the next season isn't even announced yet.

The anime aside, does anyone know if the the manga will ever reach where the light novel is? i heard the manga has not even passed the anime have they cancelled it?

Who knows to be honest
considering how long each scenario/arc takes to conclude, We'd probably expect at least 4 more seasons and a few more movies, but then again you have to consider the time it takes for the animators and directors to draw everything and script everything in place

not saying that it won't come out, but then again chances are unlikely

Its going to take nearly a decade for just the WN to finish, and then MAYBE a few months for the LN to catch up. Even if the anime's production somehow speeds up magically to 1 season per 2 years, its going to be at Arc 9, or S7.

its not possible to adapt the entire series just they hafta adapt then there to boost the novel sales

its the same as any other anime, example is date a live, theyre at 4th season and they still have a lot to cover

it probably depends on how much the demand is, of theres a lot, then the chances of it continuing gets higher

re zero in my opinion would plummet, coz of bea's and rem's route is already done

but we'll never know

It will take one more decade to see the ending of WN of rezero... and about anime it will take 2 decades with this pace... but as far as I know Tappei,the creator of series, mentioned that his all dreams become true now and one of them was to rezero get full anime adaption so may be we can hope rezero anime will have ending but it will take so much time...

We already have two more seasons worth content but still no official announcement so far we only got some leaks that s3 is in production currently...

The Author said that it would be around 8 Anime seasons and that its his top priority to adapt the whole series. Its probably a long time but I think we will see the final. And there is enough done content for around 3 cours and until than the next arc is also finished. We just have to wait... Sadly.

I'm not sure but i think it's not yet finished the ending of season 2 part 2 doesn't seem to be the ending of the anime and if it is then I'm disappointed lol because that's not what i was expecting assuming it's not we'd probably get 2 more seasons which is most likely to happen because this would be a disappointing ending for an anime which is considered one of the best animes (in my opinion)
