So, Team RWBY (minus Weiss) is for the 2nd time, back into Negative Weiss's dream along with Jaune for help, repeat from the beginning all over to alter the future.

The White Fang, as opposed to fully taking over the Company train the 1st time around, has been successfully pushed back this time, but the actual contents and what happens thereafter all fall on Weiss's shoulders, which for now, the walls of the Ice Queendom are open for its entrance, revealing a sight of the land never seen before and Weiss's decisions drastically changed from here on out.

It's also Jaune's turn to have a go walking through the lands, and as someone whom is allergic to Nightmare, he got a better reception from the enemy...and in the prison cell that locks the Sillies, seeing a hidden carnival that hides Team RWBY's original yellow relic and releases lots of child Weisses running amok to signify a free spirit, retaliating against the town with his other Team JNPR mates.

It's easy to see that Jaune was Team RWBY's ace-in-the-hole, that is until the rest gets brainwashed under Negative Weiss's control and the Nightmare Grimm's captivity release, mayhem strikes early in the Ice Queendom.

Somehow it felt like the untenable pacing got even more atrocious to feel like the story's ready to move on from plot to plot, which is just sad.

That was new, an anime character with a gaudy oversized sword, that is too heavy to wield.

The whole train sequence was hot.

What a chaotic 3rd part. I liked it.

Now is discover whats up with Pyrrha.

Jaune literally lightened up the mood this episode, this episode had me laughing I found almost everything to be funny in todays ep especially Jaune lol

What In the heck? There’s literally a whole festival inside the Silly lol everybody was having a good time in there, It actually might not be bad as I thought it was…

It was funny seeing everything just unravel and be chaotic as heck though and it was nice to see small Weiss too, but I’m Glad Jaune was involved with this because man the dude is funny, he was just making things funnier than it should be haha.

-The train sequence was badass.
-Good to see some Jaume spotlight.
-Those loli Weiss were so cute.
-Were the statue of Weiss's dad said he wanted to have fun I chuckled.
-Knew the Big Nicholas statue would be used to fight the protagonists.

This is turning into the Walking Dead “farm” season where the venue and plot are stagnant and don’t move forward. This went from a fun, well-animated evolution of the original series into just plain boring. Can we get out of the dream and move forward?

There were some pretty cool sequences this episode. Especially on the train. The army of kid Weiss' was cute. I don't think we ever see kid Weiss at least in the first 5 volumes of RWBY that I watched.

Well dream Weiss is really OP but I'm pretty sure Shion said this is the last time they'll be able to enter before the nightmare kills Weiss or w/e so this has to be resolved soon. Seems unlikely it will to all the way to the end, but after spending so much time in dreamland I'm curious as to wtf else they will do that's original if they get out early.

Animation dipped a bit but the OST when Weiss entered was fucking amazing. Now, I appreciate the depth and insight into Weiss the show has given thus far but the plot is beginning to drag quite a bit.

Honestly a fun and wacky episode that brought some neat shots. The animation was much smoother in this episodes than it was in the last one. Probably one of my favorite episodes so far. Team RWBY and Jaune, start crashing the dream rather than just trying to live through it. The more things they change then more things start becoming chaotic. Was not expecting little child Weiss's running around, after Jaune opened the silly door. Was also not expecting a Titan child Weiss to try and crush Jaune.

And dang Weiss showed her power this episode. She is a level 100 mage. Seriously that shot of her shooting the sky with a beam that caused a snowstorm and created a giant guardian. So fun, so cool, this is an episode that makes come back for more.

Why are you all acting so surprised that the dream takes so many episodes? Look at the title of the anime. If you wanna watch the rest of the story go watch the original. This is more like a side story.

yea why wouldn't people be mad that the plot is rushed for some overly drawn out dream sequence, along with the show having watered down personalities and fights, they literally cut out some of the best fights in rwby too, I can’t see why people would dislike this version at all you got me bro i’m just being negative because the plot is too good for me to handle

Finally an unironically good, fun episode. Sasuga Shafto-kun.

Also sick callback/reference to the many animation errors in original RWBY. When they were riding the train in there's one shot where Jaune has his hat/gloves/scarf before he receives them and then they disappear the very next shot.

Its fine if they have an actual interesting narrative to tell but unfortunately they don't. They're really stretching it very thin, the plot and story barely moves forward. On top of that we also have janky cgi fights sprinkled in and the production quality getting worse and worse as it goes on.

So I totally get why people already losing interest with this version. If I wasn't such a huge RWBY fan I would have dropped it by now.

Another crappy episode and the animation keeps getting worse and worse, if I wasn't an RWBY fan I would have dropped this piece of crap already and I hate dropping animes.

Can we please move on? this dream is boring as fuck and the crappy animation isn't helping either, at least this episode made me chuckle a bit and the mini Weiss where cute too but that's about it, just another crappy 2/5 episode from the bunch, not completely horrible to deserve a 1/5 but pretty bad nonetheless.

I have this anime rated a 5/10 for now, at this rate it will end up with a 2/10 by the time I finish it.

The story is a little repetitive for be always in the same dream (just my opinion for a seasonal anime).
But it's still pretty, the girls are cool, the big Weiss make me think at Attack on Titan :')

Yeah. 7 episodes in out of 12. That does not leave much room for anything else this season. Disappointing as the anime had a very strong start.
By now I almost forgot about the main plot, hunters, hunters academy etc.

My guess is Shaft (And myself) would also be happy to actually remake the show, but RoosterTeeth would never allow that because RWBY is their money maker. So their Persona-ing RWBY basically, the entire story is just this “dream” with Weiss.

I knew from the title it would revolve around her obviously but I thought it’d take place in the actual world, because all of RWBY’s fun concepts are in their fantasy world, not in someone’s mindscape. I’m not watching anymore until the dub comes out anyway, it feels weird watching it without the original VA’s.

The symbolism of the childhood Weiss figures....and the way the Nightmare Grimm tries to convince Weiss she has to keep that side of her bottled up or else all chaos and destruction will break lose is excellent visual storytelling. The episode shows instead of tells.

For some reason, I’m enjoying this series less and less with each episode. It could just be the show not appealing to my preference. The dream run is feeling repetitive, hopefully they won’t keep jumping into new dreams if a sequel is decided.
