| A fairly typical opening episode for the early incarnations of the Yuusha franchise: aliens invade earth, Brave was sent over to stop them, young school boy is The Chosen One (tm) who guides/leads the Braves in their fight against the aforementioned invaders. Then again, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Animation is on point, as is pretty much always the case with the Yuusha franchise, and Da Garn's design looks awesome: sleek, colorful, not too simple, but also not suffering from the overdesign that many modern mecha and super robots seem to suffer from. Overall not a bad start to the third Yuusha series. |
