any other recommendation for this unique aesthetic?

lots of people reccomended this anime to be on the basis that it is similar to cowboy bebop.

However I found it much too different than bebop, in a good way.

I really liked the very unique take on sci fi designs and a unique blend of eastern cyberpunk.

unlike the generic tall buildings and generic sci fi spaceships, there is some unique blend of eastern archtecture almost never seen in scifi, with even the systems of ships and computer systems being in some unique Chinese theme. I don't know what I would call it, this reminds me of a Chinese version of steam punk being called "silk punk". outlaw star doesn't really feel like a traditional space western instead being some one of an eastern spin with unique aesthetics from the taoist weapons, to the oriental design for its buildings and spaceship systems.

does anyone know another series that is like this in this regard?

could be any anime, manga light novel, hell even other media. I'm tired of the generic cyberpunk look and really want to see something new similar to this.

Honestly can't think of much like Outlaw Star itself. However Angel Links is a spin off, kind of, set in the same universe. Different characters, although they appeared in one episode of Outlaw Star (19-Law and Lawless). Where the crew was captured by a private security force(the lizard guy Rex & crew) I don't think it's personally anywhere near as good, but it does exist.
edit: Outlaw Star is one of my all time favs just as an aside
