Dazai finds himself at the end of the line, The Book in one hand and a pen he stole from Kunikida in the another. Natsume Sensei is standing before him and reminds him of Odasaku's promise, to save people. Natsume Sensei believes in the greater good, he tells Dazai to write in the book a reality where they all live, where it's somewhat more peaceful. A reality with a stronger Agency, a stronger Port Mafia, and a better Tripartite Framework.
Only Dazai will remember the first original reality so he asks Natsume what would happen if that new reality also fails. The answer is simple really, just find the book once more and write a new story. So Dazai writes until his memories are vague, to the point the only striking memories he has left are those of Odasaku and his friends(?).
Then that is how we end up in the Beast AU leading up to his eventual suicide.
Anyways I wouldn't mind if that's how BSD ended really so like I'm thinking of like making a one-shot or a whole chapter-fanfiction after reading the Beast Au light novel and manga. But seeing as I've never made fanfiction in A03 it might be pretty bad so who wants to be my beta? |
