Why do people think Baki is better?

I just started the show after seeing how season 2 was announced and after a few episodes I saw people constantly comparing it to Baki. It seems to have some inspiration with the muscle aspect, I know but the plot and fights in this one are far more enjoyable in my opinion. I just don't see why people keep belittling it. Of course I know the CGI doesn't help.
