Ah, the bittersweet symphony of anime viewing—fraught with perilous peaks and desolate valleys, where the promise of greatness oft clashes with the harsh reality of disappointment.

In this tumultuous season, I, too, have borne witness to the somber procession of dropped animes, each one a testament to unfulfilled expectations and shattered dreams. Yet amidst the wreckage, there exists one beacon of hope—a glimmering ember amidst the encroaching shadows.

Yes, this particular anime, like a fragile blossom amidst the tempest, has weathered the storm of my scrutiny, clinging to the faint hope of redemption. Though fraught with shallow pitfalls and treacherous missteps, it harbors the seeds of potential, waiting to bloom in the fertile soil of narrative progression.

Ah, the delicate dance between angels and devils—the eternal struggle woven into the very fabric of existence, now illuminated by the flickering light of burgeoning affection. As the tendrils of love intertwine amidst the cosmic tapestry, so too does my tentative optimism begin to take root.

Perhaps, just perhaps, my initial assessment may yet evolve, transforming from a modest four-star rating into something more substantial. Yet, in this delicate juncture, I find myself confronted with a haunting question—can this anime truly change its fate, or does it remain ensnared in the cycle of mediocrity, a siren's call luring the unwary into its murky depths?

Ah, the enigma of redemption—such is the journey we undertake as seekers of anime enlightenment, where the promise of transformation hangs in the balance, awaiting the final verdict of time.

Was there really any need for this? And yes, I am sticking with it. The manga is good and the anime adaptation is really good and funny. Nice animation as well.

For me it's funny enough to like it, even though it's toned down compared to the manga.

@CheliosX Ah, the temerity of such a retort! To cast doubt upon the necessity of my poignant musings, to question the relevance of my impassioned reflections, is to trifle with the very essence of anime discourse itself!

Was there a need for my post, you ask? Oh, but there was, my dear interlocutor! For in the vast expanse of the anime landscape, where emotions run deep and opinions clash like thunder in the night, every word, every sentiment carries weight and significance.

To dismiss my heartfelt contemplations as superfluous is to denigrate the very essence of anime appreciation, to diminish the fervor with which we engage in spirited discourse about our beloved medium.

Ah, but perhaps you fail to grasp the depth of my introspection, the sincerity of my quest for enlightenment amidst the tumult of anime viewing. For in the ebb and flow of our shared experiences, it is through dialogue and introspection that we glean insights and forge connections that transcend the confines of mere entertainment.

So, before you cast aspersions upon the relevance of my post, I implore you to consider the profound implications of our communal journey through the vast tapestry of anime. For in the crucible of discourse, amidst the clash of divergent perspectives, lies the very essence of our shared passion for this art form.

There exist among the detritus littered through the landscape of this work, little shimmers of brightness, gems of promise that reveal themselves when the light of our perspectives hits them at the right angles. They whisper to us of deeper treasures ‘neath the gravel of familiar, well-trod tropes, portending future revelations and rewards for the committed and patient, much as how in the text itself we see the seeds that germinate and slowly grow in the relationship between the Angel and the Devil, as evil reconciles with good in this coy dance that may just be shallow but entertaining allegory, but can (as such things do) be a trigger for profundity unforeseen, in the right hands, to the right mouths.

Also the gags are pretty funny. The Luffy v Goku thing is kinda based and I’m tired of pretending it’s not. But mostly I am on board with this ship and while the ride might not be smooth, I have a feeling by the end imma get where we want, albeit a little wet

I have mixed feelings for me The first episode was good then the later 2-3 episodes were a bit downgrade/boring for me but the rest felt good so I'll keep watching for now.

FFS why is there a lower character limit but no upper limit to prevent such tedious attempts at superiority by kids with a thesaurus and a lot of spare time 😩

There is, it's 65535 characters.

I dropped it after episode 1. Not because of the lack of ecchi but because I hate abusive female characters and doormat male characters. Does the guy get any better and get back at the bitch of an angel or no? If that changes then I might continue watching so I’d appreciate an answer

@Animillion ends almost completely around episode 2-3 although I can't guarantee it won't reappear in upcoming episodes, but I reckon it won't.

@Treyv0n I just saw this show came in dead last on Anime News Networks accumulative seasonal rankings list, lol. Yes, literally the last out of everything shown this season. Actually, five out of 12 shows I watched this season were in bottom 10, lol.

I barely finished this season with A LOT of pure pressure on myself so as not to drop it (because I wanted to do it justice). However, I don't think that I'll be there for a second season of this. There are far better animes that are worthy of my time.
