| The sheer innocence of Ebisu's reincarnation calling Bishamon "Crazy Chick" is absolute gold lmao It's about time Yato cut ties with Nora, but revealing that the one dude who kissed Hiyori at that capybara park is way more important than a random one-off dude is both an amazing twist and such a cruel, cruel cliffhanger. Yet another title to inhale copium for another season lol. |
| On the plus side, Yato came to his senses and severed ties with Nora. Looks like Fujisaki DOES have some further part to play in this tale... |
| Season 2 was both better and worse. Definitely enjoyed the story that had more momentum and lore. Liked seeing Yato's history, motivation and growth, not to mention Bishamon's point of view. However, I was disappointed that the story got more Shounen action-y and sometimes contrived. It also lost the creepiness and weirdness factor of the previous season. It's weird that characters feel both deeper and shallower at the same time by Episode 13. I definitely liked this, but I'm left not quite satisfied. Kind of surprised by how popular this series is on MAL. |

| This anime has it all tbh, I'm shocked they never made a 3rd season. I haven't read the manga, but it felt like they skipped over some stuff in this adaptation. The second half felt incredibly rushed. |

| One hell of a final episode, So Ebisu did actually die, ffs Ebisu you could have easily dodged that attack you weakling, then he just fucking explodes, I mean that's just fucking brutal I was expecting him to have the typical like "Remember me!" Then he like just dies but nope he explodes mid sentence. absolute cinema. Then he is reincarnated into a small child and we get his backstory and apparently he was not the conjurer but instead it was Yato's father. Damn. Then Nora just gets sent off and then they seem to live happily ever after until the post credits where Nora is seen after Yato gets rid of her and the Father is like a teenage boy guy, Idk why they never made a third season for this shit it clearly could have had one considering the way that they set it up. Whatever goated series glad i watched it YAHOO! |
