And the relationship is finally dead. It is insane that it lasted as long in-story as it did given that Kai pretty-much had a separate family in Tokyo while Akimi basically went from being his girlfriend to the out-of-town side-chick herself. Now she just needs to get away from her mom and start living for herself.
