Lmao Right? I was seriously baffled by some of these comments, like why are you even back here?? If you didn’t like the first season of a show, chances are you’ll feel the same the next season. What’s worse than not liking a show is making sure any who does like the show know about it. I truly believe some of y’all just can’t stand when a newcomer get some good reception, so you immediately dump on it. Use this energy to watch the shows you do like 😂

Animation took a noticeable dip but I guess it's cuz of the large number of guys in the background. If it were one-on-one fights I doubt it'd have this problem. All in all a decent episode. 7/10.

just like season 1, logics out the window. I mean it's anime yeah..but find it hilarious how an entire town's fate lies in the hands of a group of hot headed teenage boys. where r their parents? guardians? what are the adults doing?
I reviewed Season 1 too.
firstly the OST and ED are great. the animation is good the colour palette and directory too. apart from that it's the same as the previous season. it's just meh.
the episode starts right off with a fight and no recap, so I had to watch the last few minutes of the last episode to know why's this happening. the fight is fine but as I said it's a bit nonsensical. it would have been better if they weren't a bunch of teenagers but more like grown men in different gang groups. I guess Japan's obsession with high school ruins alot of stories. felt the same with Yakuza Fiancé.
the entire conversation between lollipop guy and Sakura was cringe. I just couldn't. if I must say, the entirety of it is cringey.
anyway, the character designs are good as always, unfortunately not used properly. yuji itadori's VA added flare.
again, this series might have been a hit if they weren't kids fighting and acting like adults. the entire shoe feels like a joke cause of that.

Look, man.
I always respect the opinions and takes of people but you're hating for the sake of hating. No one is forcing you to watch it. That "unfortunately" you typed is very very rude and disrespectful. There will always be people that don't like an anime but wishing for the anime not to continue for no/whatever reason is downright irritating.
Yes, Wind Breaker's story is mainly about fights which is obvious but it at least makes up for that with it's emotional impact and character development.
If you're hating on s2, better drop it now cause upcoming seasons are gonna be the same with different gangs and stakes.

And the recap part, dude, it's only been a year or less, forgot the story? Go watch a recap.

Dunno if I'm 100% with your take on the animation. I think it's about the same as it's been through season one, which, I'll give ya, ain't that great, but I've seen plenty worse. There's even tiny bits of sakuga in the mix when you see Suo gettin' jiggy in battle, but I think that may or may not be required 'cuz of his fighting style.

I like that you're still watching 14 eps in — shows that you're giving the show a real try, which is more than what actual "haters" would do. Me? I loved this dang episode. Just as B-grade as it was last season, but that cheesy passion, optimism toward, and dedication Bofurin has to their town is what makes me love it so friggin' much. Jumping straight into the fighting makes it feel like there's potential for this to jump up to a Grade A anime, for me.

Good to see it back. I remember the 1st season started out nice but got a little boring in the middle, only the showdown with Shishitoren made it fun to watch. Lets see what happens this season. The OP and ED is definitely better than the previous season for me.

I honestly expected a drop in quality due to the fact that the animation studio, Cloverworks, had four projects right now, but surprisingly it maintains the quality of the first season. The soundtrack is still at the level of the first one, and the fights can be felt.

I was actually shocked at first when I saw that S2 is airing already and s1 only aired an year ago
so I was a bit doubtful about the animation... which turned out to be true 😔
(personal opinion) CGI ruins anime and this turned out to be the same case which wind breaker s2 and blue lock s2
I can only hope that the animation uses lesser CGI and takes breaks in-between to improve it.

eh well it was okay. its only good when there are badass and overpowered fights like when the 2nd years turned up. before that it was quite eh. the fights are pretty good so looking forward to some good fights. and also seems like they are saving up budget for some big fight later in the season.

Starting right from where it ended, it is gonna be absurd for the starting of a season.

Nirei being the coward type of character really asks for a bigger development, maybe a little bit more than just taking notes and seeking for information.
Sugishita breaking the door even though they didn't show it had a lock just for aura farming and Sakura getting more focused on beating up the guy right in front of him was really cool.

As expected, the animation looks downgraded compared to s1. And this is episode 1, which should be prioritized to welcome viewers back. Im worried for future eps.
Cloverworks has too many projects in line rn, s2 aired only 8 months after s1 ended. This is very rushed

Okay we're back to the arc they introduced during the last episode of the previous season, and it's already action packed of course with a full brawl fight against the Keel (with also some 2nd year entering the fight). Nirei got (a bit) useful for once and I can only respect his courage of fighting even though he doesn't know how to (and he obviously ended up with him being beaten but that's respectable). Anyway they need to defeat the Keel higher-ups to save their friend now I guess.

Given their username, pretty sure they're one of the Tokyo Revengers fans who are just pissed Windbreaker is being given much better treatment than TR ever was.

I'm a fan of both WB and TR. The people who compare the two series on either side are all annoying, but the ones on the TR side are louder about it.

Honestly, that kinda sucked, the animation wasn't there, there were several continuity errors between scenes/cuts, and the dialogue was as corny as ever. I will be surprised if I make it to the end of the season.

Damn, the animation got a downgrade. Too bad, but I still like this anime. Love delinquent anime/manga/series.
I like that this didnt have a recap, straight into the action. I still remember the key points of last season. So there is no need to waste time in that.

Animation is To notch.. Its just too Much Crowed to animate everyone that's it.thats Why used CGI.

Wind Breaker is finally back and I’m so happy! 🌟
We jumped right into the punches and chaos, and honestly? I loved it. The action was super fun to watch. The only thing that didn’t quite sit right with me was the CGI used for the background fights, it wasn’t bad, just looked kinda off compared to the rest of the animation.

Now about the music… the opening is sooo good! The ending, though, didn’t hit me as hard as the one from season one, it’s nice, but the first one just had that special something.

Also, the background music during the fights was really cool, super intense, but I felt like it never stopped playing? It made some moments feel a bit too loud or busy, if that makes sense.

But overall, I really enjoyed the episode and I’m just happy it’s back. Looking forward to what’s coming next! :D

First of all the OP is an absolute BANGER that gives me Akame ga Kill music vibes in a positive way,then the series take us where they left us at season 1 and it looks like Keel is not really what it seems since the rivals where introduced one by one with names and when a series does that it has to mean that this clan has more inside it,i haven't read the manga so i'm ready for some more talking with their fights at the next episodes,can't wait(animationwise we already knew that it would be awesome it's 2025 haha so i didn't want to focus there)

@jarnuts_27 @annamanawana @CheliosX Ah yes! You all are so right, let me just not give my thoughts on an episode or series in a discussion board about it (you know, a place where you’re supposed to share your thoughts, whether those be positive or negative).

@stankynachos I'll actually respond to you seriously since you seem like you genuinely want to have a human conversation, unlike the buffoons above.

Listen man, the animation is still above average, yes, but if you can't see the glaring downgrade, like the CGI in the background, the overuse of still frames, and the fact that the sakuga has taken a big nosedive, then I don't know what to tell you. Even the OP has taken a hit in terms of animation quality compared to the first one.

And cool man, you enjoy the cheesiness of the dialogue, but it’s just not for me. I could handle it in something like Tokyo Revengers because I at least semi-cared about the characters. Here, other than Umemiya and maybe Suou, I couldn’t care less about the rest of the cast.
