| Hana really needs to get it together and be more confident. Even a place like a bowling alley gives her chills. I always find it kinda funny how she seems to always be in the same place as Yosuke. Looks like he works there as a part-timer. Oh and Uguisudani unexpectingly scary when she puts on her scary face. |

| Fun episode. Getting your fingers crushed by a bowling ball must hurt like hell. I don't want to experience that pain. Yosuke working at the place where Hana and her family went was kind of expected, for me at least. Wasn't expecting Tetsuo to be there but hey, the more the merrier. She did get some birthday coupons out of that so thats cool. 4/5 |

| Since the girls are interested in bowling, the guys get in hand too with Ueno onboard, and the girls inviting Hana altogether, the latter definitely feels out of place, even with Uguisudani taking care of her as a friend, and Ueno showing her the ropes, makes quite the hangout session with fellow classmates despite her being uncomfortable. Even with just an encouragement from Ueno that lightens up Hana, and Uguisudani misinterpreting that both her and Ueno are dating in secret, Hana tries her best to direct the attention away from her, despite having quite the injury to her fingers being unaware of the bowling ball rolling onto her hand. And even in the midst of Golden Week, Hana can't escape from Ueno working at the family restaurant that both her and her parents frequent. Moreover, it's not just Ueno, but Gotanda as well, that Hana got her hand burnt as well in the midst of the flustering celebrating her birthday as a surprise at that too, aside from the guys having their birthdays during key holidays as well. It's quite the meeting, but Hana's flustering is hilariously genuine as heck. |

| This series established a little more of its own identity this episode. Tabata is such a wreck and painful to watch, but she's surrounded by good people who will help her blossom, I'm sure. Sad to see this sitting below 7, but I can understand it's not everyone's cuppa. |
It was such a painful episode. Literally! Tabata, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!   I love Saori so much! She can be a normal voice actress with a normal voice, like Yor or Rin, and suddenly: GUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!  Tabata's mom and dad were losing their collective sh***!! That was so funny!    |

| I'm still not sure if Uguisudani is really a good person or just pretending. He may have set up the bowling alley because he thought Hana and Ueno were dating, but that doesn't erase my suspicions. Still, I hope I'm wrong. Poor Hana's hand has suffered a lot in this episode, crushed by a bowling ball and burned several times on the grill. Luckily, Ueno is a solid guy and was always by her side. He's even starting to show signs that he likes her. I'm still not sure if Tetsuo is part of the formula for a love triangle, but I wouldn't mind; least of all Hana's parents, who were the best thing about the episode: very excited to see their daughter become popular with the boys, while she was internally screaming “please end meeee.” |

I have to say it is refreshing to have one of these shows where the introverted female protagonist is not being intensely bullied. Tabata, like her spiritual predecessor Kyo Ichikawa, just needs to realize the only person who hates her right now is her. We know from these stories when she conquers her lack of self-esteem, the story will make real progress. I hope we only get one more episode of these “everybody hates me” episode and the we start getting real character growth.

It’s like the show gathers all the awkward moments and compiles them into one series! Let’s wait for next week’s episode.   |

I was also expecting Uguisuidani to be a complete bitch once they were alone, so that was nice. but still don't trust her quite yet I do not understand why the score is so low ;-; just shoujo prejudice lol I swear Hana is extremely relatable |

| Just an FYI Hana’s embarrassment over her usual menu order wasn’t just about the portion size. Natto & Kimchi are both notorious for having a very strong odor (a comparative level of embarrassment for non-Japanese viewers would be sauerkraut, garlic or onions). |

| It's a lot of fun seeing these characters brought to life through the anime! Tabata and Ueno are so cute. I'm not sure if I was still under the impression that this didn't have an official release date yet or what, but as soon as I was recommended the opening and saw that it had started airing, it didn't long for me to decide that I'm not going to wait until this finishes airing for me to watch. I'm going to have a good time with it every week! Hopefully someone finishes translating the remainder of the manga, too... |

| This is so embarrassing to watch. "Sorry to barge in on my birthday..." - to a place the guy is working at and anyone can be his customer. Does she even hear herself?! And the way she immediately thinks badly of everyone who just tries to be friendly. So annoying and makes me not want to cheer her on as protagonist. |

| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
