Hi,

I have a large scale professional level project where I'm in need of additional authorizations that are not automatically granted by the API Agreement. I understand that inquiries of this nature are to be directed to customer support as per the Agreement, but my contact with support so far only yielded me a boiler plate response unrelated to my inquiry.

I want to confirm if customer support is indeed the right channel to reach out to, or if i may have incorrectly assumed so.

I understand this is a tricky question and that i may not find a solution here, but i figured this was worth posting nevertheless for lack of a better choice.

Hello @SomeNewGuy,

Unfortunately, Customer Support is the only available channel for any formal inquiry related to the API.
The API itself hasn't received any significant updates for years, and MAL has been acquired twice since the first public release of the API. To the best of my knowledge, there's currently no staff assigned to the development or support of the API.

Good luck!
