And her vital instrument is from the same number series as that of Rudo. They should have been cautious when she asked them to remove their masks. Can't wait to see what Tamsy's vital instrument's gonna be like. |

So Amo controls the power of smell, which basically means she’s stinky af, it falls in line with the show about trash lol, that’s gotta be some special stink tho to be turning most of the team against Zanka and the fella with the wild hair I can’t remember the name of, if only one of them had kept their gas mask on or something lol. Yeah so they definitely walked into this one, but I will say this situation with Amo is very fun so I don’t mind them falling for an obvious trap, I really love the way Amo can go from wanting to talk about crushes to losing her shit seconds later, and damn did Enjin really have to roast her outfit choice lol, I mean yeah it would be hard to concentrate but it is a great design.
And the stuff with Rudo in his own head was pretty cool, I thought maybe we’d see the stink not work on Rudo since he has bad memories associated with Chiwa, but it looks like Amo’s power specifically triggers the good feelings and not the bad ones, maybe there’s some kind of loophole Rudo can figure out tho, because it’s a real shame our boy is being used like this, however I do like that Chiwa became relevant again in this way, it makes that betrayal mean a lot more.

| Wow, Amo really is crazy—haha, I love her. But it was definitely frustrating to see the Cleaners fall for her tricks and how she manipulates memories through her vital instrument. I still don’t fully understand how the scent thing works, but the fact that her instrument is a pair of boots just makes me think her feet must stink 😂 So exciting! Ever since I saw Tamsy, I loved their design—it reminds me of Belaf from Made in Abyss (well, they do share the same voice actor). I’m really looking forward to seeing what their vital instrument will be. |

@Ricchan__ I don't think I'd say it's slow. I'd say it's just not good. I'm not enjoying it despite having a fair amount of interest the first few episodes. Oh well
| @HagePotPotato I'm reading the manga. The manga itself is currently at chapter 149 and nowhere near the end. There are so many mysteries left out to be solved and not just the items of the watchman series, which only have been named in the anime and only a part of this series has been shown now. It really is slower in terms of build up compared to some other newer shows, for example Solo Leveling. Currently, most events are being finished in 2 - 3 episodes, but they're only small bits. The real antagonist has yet to introduce himself to Rudo. Like I've said, a few more episodes and the real s*** is going to start. I can't force you to continue watching it, but you will miss out something great for sure. |

| - Is it illegal to be sane in Terra? I wonder. - Is it illegal to have brain cells in Terra? I double wonder. Clear step back from previous episodes. Main cast is as naive as a bunch of 6yo children and have the survival instinct of a rock. Also, this Amo chick is annoying as all hell. Damn these authors who think a well-written character is someone who makes guttural noises and crazy facial expressions 24/7 smh. |

| I really liked this episode. Yes, it was paced slowly, but the atmosphere created by this pacing is immaculate. It's probably one of my favorite Gachiakuta episodes so far, in fact. I see many people complaining that the Cleaners were incompetent this episode; I won't dismiss that entirely because Amo had red flags all over her. I do think it's excusable though, because every decision made by the characters were explained. The Cleaners could not have known that Amo's powers are scent-based until Amo mentioned it. They also thought fighting was unlikely to occur, since they outnumbered Amo. Finally, when Delmon blasted Enjin, they didn't sit around and do nothing but instead went into react mode. It was interesting to see how different characters acted in this situation. Enjin got straight to the point, the tactlessness of which was only amplified by his snark. Zanka thought about things rationally, but still antagonized Amo after Enjin got blasted. Riyo decided to not trust anyone else immediately. Tamsy tried to stay calm and collected. Rudo was angry the entire time even under Amo's deception, but still felt conflicted when faced with the memory of Chiwa. And, of course, Amo was simultaneously suffering a psychotic breakdown and appearing very kawaii the entire time. Before Amo's arc, Gachiakuta characters were just people with jinkis (vital instruments), but now they have backstories as well. The direction of this episode was also great. Rudo seeing Chiwa again was expressed beautifully, in my opinion. As I said above, I also really liked the tense atmosphere. The adaptation definitely elevated the source material this episode in that regard. And, finally, holy crap, Kana Hanazawa went ballistic. Last episode I could still hear hints of Mitsuri, but now Amo is a character in and of herself. There was some seriously impressive voice acting this episode. |

| Amo is creepy, and her powers are so cool. But I love her. She's my type. Rudo is going through it right now with his memories of Chiwa. And, looks like others are facing their own versions of happy memories that they want to protect. I love Amo. Her design, her voice, her personality. My girl indeed. |
