| The movie is so good, I watched it twice in the cinema today, once in 4DX and once in IMAX. The action and soundtrack are something you need to experience on the big screen. For those waiting for the Blu-ray or Netflix release, I highly recommend watching it in cinemas first. Just like Demon Slayer, the Chainsaw Man movie is meant to be enjoyed in theaters. Also, don’t skip the Jane Doe ending song—the movie has an after-credits scene. |

| Just finished watching and I'm in awe. Even though I read the manga, I was thrilled by the action and sakuga. It was jaw dropping honestly, Over the top as hell but in a good way. Soundtrack of this movie was amazing and the direction was superb, They really nailed Reze's character and powers. I dont think this arc could've been done any better than this. Credits to Mappa. Some scenes were a bit hard for me to make out due to the lighting maybe but overall, I think this was a solid 9/10. Now if we can get this sort of treatment for Chainsaw man season 2 then we're in for the treat of a lifetime. Definitely felt more playful and much much more raw and unhinged than the first season which is due to the director change I guess. |

Guys, do you think Reze genuinely liked Denji at the very beginning, because she swam with him and taught him how to swim?
| @R666666 Likely yes. I believe that's the reason why she asked Denji whether he wants to run away with her or not, even if she knows the answer well. Just taking a shot in hopes everything goes well. |

| WATCH THIS IN CINEMA. IT'S WORTH IT. The first season is too bland for my taste, but this movie it the exact opposite of that! MAPPA really went all out with the animation and sound, and the dynamics between Reze and Denji is very fun to watch. The school scene is beautiful, just pure dumb fun with our protagonists. Though, I wish the festival scene was a little bit longer instead of a quickly put together montage. As for the story, eh, it's nothing to write home about. Not sure how this ranks among future arcs, but if they are as interesting as this one, maybe I'll consider following the chainsaw man series. This gets a solid 8/10 (one point deducted from story). |

No… The sakuga is technically 40 minutes, so second half. First half doesn’t have sakuga bro

| Wow, this was amazing. Guess people weren't lying when they said the animation would be better than season 1. While I didn't mind season 1 animation either, I really prefer this. As for the story itself, this is the second best arc of the manga, so ofcourse it's peak. I really felt sorry for Reze if I'm being honest, moreso than the time during I read the manga. ;-; |

| I felt very sad for Reze even though i know what is coming on her direction from a mile, It's the same feeling when i read the manga. One of the best theatrical experience i had, Glad i watched this movie on a theatre instead of waiting for bd release. They did justice to one of my fav arcs in the manga. The art, animation and beautiful sakuga is a feast for my eyes. I salute to MAPPA and all the staff who worked on the movie. Hoping that Waiting for S02 annponcement won't be too long... |

| Absolutely amazing, Every single moment in this movie was so god damn perfect. Loved the scenes with Beam and Chainsaw Man. Reze character was absolutely perfect, love the fight scenes, and hearing the ending song 3 from the series in the car with Aki was nostalgic. |

| ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Watching denji still being such a pure boy before all the shit that happened to him after part 1 of the manga again was so sad :( Amazing sakuga as expected from Mappa. Both the opening and ending made by Kenshi Yonezu slaps. It's all about as I expected, they adapted the bomb devil arc very well. Overall a great cinema experience. I saw some old dude with a pochita plush watching the movie which was cute lol. 9/10 no complains |

| Just watched the movie and it was fucking perfect. The animation team did complete justice to the manga. They really brought Reze to life. Both the drama portion and the action portion were amazingly done. I was so engrossed in the movie I didn't wanted it to end. I really want that season 2 now man. The pinnacle of Chainsaw Man needs to be animated with this quality. Movie rating: 10/10. It couldn't have been more perfect. |

| Yello, I've finally gotten home from the nearest mall to my home, and I had to use my motorcycle rather than a car to get there because I'm afraid the parking lot would be full there since it's Saturday. But anyways, this movie was so blazing to the point wow I deadass forgot to eat my popcorn while watching due to how great the story is in this arc. This arc will and always will fascinates me because how one character can be so damn entertaining to watch being the protag Denji himself and damn the movie adaptation directed by Yoshihara-san himself knocked it out of the park! The OP song "IRIS OUT" is still pretty addictive to hear even till I'm writing this, and the visuals were pretty which is expected from a JPOP star that is Yonezu-san. I like when Pochita was having the DDR moment :3 Now, if I were to seek the main selling point of this movie besides the story... It would obviously be the action scenes which were adapted way too beautifully. Denji's fight against Typhoon Devil and Reze were quite the sight to see. The secondary selling point would be the OST which Ushio-san again proves why he's one of the best JP composers of all time from afaik A Silent Voice, Devilman Crybaby, and now Orb which is the recent anime I finished. My top 5 favorite osts are 1. In the pool. 2. Bomb (literally reminded me of D.V.M.N theme). 3. In the sea. 4. Reze. 5. Typhoon Devil and honorable mention being... Jane slept in the church due to it being a Russian lullaby and I loved Ueshama's voice singing it. Also, they extended the CSM ED 3 song which was again an absolute bang of a banger, I really wished MTH would release the full version sooner enough. Then, after the plot twist ending which just cemented my glorifying hatred for Makima to the topper than before if that even makes a single sense xd. The post credits scene literally screams why Power is Denji's true girl but hey their relationship is pretty fascinating which I adore. Another thing... I wasn't able to watch this movie in IMAX because it wasn't available in the mall I was in ;-; but I could if I went to a further mall which is abt 10km but that's just way too far for my liking sheesh. Oh, what do I think abt the ED song? Fricking slaps because how melancholic it is. JANE DOE is just beautiful. The duet between Yonezu-san and Hikki-san were symbolic to Denji and Reze's relationship and yeah, JANE DOE is definitely better than IRIS OUT mhm. Overall, I genuinely think this is a near flawless movie due to how masterfully crafted the story is in this arc. Rating this... yeah, it's gonna be bias but hey it's anime where opinions are free for all imho and so I'll give this movie a perfect 10 score. Looking forward to CSM S2 news in Jump Festa 2026 at December hopefully! |

That guy’s either trolling or just clueless about what sakuga character acting even is. Imagine calling the entire first half of the movie, which was packed with top-tier character acting animators, “not sakuga.” Saying Niinuma and the others’ scenes aren’t sakuga? Bro’s high. But I agree the hype level of the action here isn’t on the same scale as Mahoraga vs Sukuna, but that’s not because the animators weren’t great. If anything, the animation here is more polished and consistent than Mahoraga vs Sukuna. It’s just that Denji and Reze’s abilities have limits compared to JJK characters, so the animators couldn’t go as wild. But I’m sure if this team sticks around for Season 2, we’ll see even crazier action scenes than this.
