Follow up to the 2023 version (boy, its been a long time since the last one, lol!).
Rules below:
For those who don't know what it is, traditional shiritori is a game where someone starts off by saying a word, and another person follows with a word that starts with the same syllable (in Japanese) or letter (in any country that uses phonetic alphabet) and the game continues that way. In this version of the game though we will be using the later.
And finally to add some spiciness to the game, I will had three rules:
1. Has the title implies, the word used must be a manga title (one-shots are OK as long as the data for them is on MAL). In addition, novel, light novels, and manhwa titles are also OK as long as they are on MAL.
2. Players can't use words that end with the same syllable twice in a row (they can still do it every two words though). An exception to this rule is if the title as an alternate last character such as titles ending with a number or character (only applicable in the case where a title starts with the same character, for example user 1 uses title3, if 3 is a usable character for the start of next title, then user 2 can start with 3title or go with the same letter again without breaking the rules).
3. players are allowed to use titles that end with a capital letter, a number, or a symbol, but are required to make research in advance to see if there is another title that starts with the same letter, number or symbol beforehand (so for ex.: if player A starts off with "title3" they are required to make sure there is a manga that starts with the number 3 before posting or else it is invalid and the next player can choose any title they want instead)
4. Finally, players can't use the same title on the same page. For example if post 51 puts up "Edens Zero", then post 94 puts "Edens Zero" as well, that person is penalized and the next person can choose the letter that starts the next book title instead.
Penalties for breaking the rules may be given depending on the number of infringement, like waiting x amount of turns before they can return to the game and play (but hey, it's not like I actually have the authority to ban people from thread games so if you feel shameless enough to go back and play before then, go ahead, lol~>:P)
Remember to not double post, and have fun everyone!:)
I'll start off following the last title:
