| I’m sorry, but Zanka’s whole motivation is actually funny, his little power fantasy of acting like that calm, untouchable prodigy got crushed by the new kid, I’m actually dying. Zanka’s hella based for that. The whole episode’s about him, and it goes exactly how you’d expect. He’s still kinda shallow, even with his “beat the genius” thing. Unlike Enjin, he never thinks about what power really means, he just wants status and to prove himself. At least it didn’t drag like the Amo stuff; they wrapped it up fast. But that ending.... bro, what even was that lol. |

| Welcome back Shiraya Tamaki from Rock Lady.. I want more of Hyo’s story, did she ever take the golden throne? What’s she doing now?? Zanka flashback was cool, no wonder be reached so harshly to Rudo when they first met, he used to be just like him lol. The way I really thought we were gonna get a standard shonen surpassing your limits scene just for it to be Zanka hallucinating was a nice surprise. My boy might be on fraud watch.. No way he actually gets killed tho, so I wonder how he’ll get out of Jabber’s grasp. Also, Jabber dancing, singing and laying down next to zanka to laugh with him in his toxin induced state is CRAZY lmao. Dude is just pure chaos. Nice set up episode, I like the deviation from the usual flashback formula. I’m assuming that glowing red thing is the new trash beast they’re cultivating as a weapon and those hands must be the remains of people they fed to it? |

| Usually a flashback focused on a specific character means they're either going to die or get a crazy power up. Just when it seemed like Zanka was about to power up and bounce back, it turns out it was just a hallucination 💀 like I said last week, bro is really looking like "potential man" right now. |

Justice for our stick boy. Did Jabber get his hallucinatory toxin from The Sinning Tree by any chance? And idk why but the hands Guita saw instantly made me think of those wooden mannequin ones from IKEA, possibly dropped from the Sphere.   |

I feel bad for Zanka, sometimes the efforts are never enough to defeat a talent. I laughed the same way they did at the end. |

Zanka isn't mediocre at all..😭😭 But they didn't have to tease us like that by giving Zanka's backstory and making us believe that he's gonna make a comeback and just to reveal that he was just dreaming due to the toxin.. 💔💔 Seeing Enjin and Riyo in the past gave me the chills. Riyo's braided her was so cool. That creepy laugh of Jabber along with Zanka. Man, Jabber is one terrifying villain and a real piece of work. Please Don't kill Zanka 🙏🙏 |

| Totally get people not liking this episode. But it was necessary for Zanka's character. I love how this series goes against the grain sometimes, normally Zanka would get a crazy power up and beat Jabber, but he lost brutally and even got humiliated. 😭😭 Just my thoughts, but another reason I really like the main cast here is because some of them remind me of JJK characters, mainly the dynamic between Enjin and Riyo. Enjin = Yuji (Lovable doof) Riyo = Nobara (Badass female with sense of humor) Jabber = Mahito (Ignorant slasher) And honestly Zanka is also similar to Megumi as well. Rudo is a bit of a mystery, he's too angry to be the average protag. The laughing scene is also similar to the JJK one.    |

| I have been completely unprepared for this weeks release. An understanding that most busy people will probably experience is lack of time. And boy this week has been nothing but busy. I went into this weeks episode thinking that I would get to see our good old friend Zanka having a blast of fight and proving Jabber wrong. But man what a rug pull that felt when it just snapped me back to reality. Pulling a little bit back to when the flash back was playing out, I understand that the more attached you are to a weapon-or any ordinary item the more power you can draw out of that specific weapon(or ordinary item). So, is this information not commonly known to the people that are in this town Zanka is from? do they give you any item or only give you COOL looking weapons that can be an offense by default? if its the latter, then they dont have any clue how the whole system works (i dont either, so thinking that way might help? idk) I think the idea that it was accidentally misplaced in there but him not knowing and going for it kinda reminds me of how Rudo grabbed any stick then proceeding to grab a toilet plunger then flung it around during him and Zanka first interaction, it reminded me how ridiculous and funny the situation was. Thinking of how that interaction went, and his back story the dude is just really REALLY normal with a bit of bad luck sprinkled in like poop, i mean misfortune. Also, Zanka's first interaction with Enjin has to be the cutest most heart warmingly funny shit I have watched. Considering Zanka's situation it proves that he's just like that? I dont know what to point out to be more specific tbh. But their encounter was after Riyou was already following Enjin it seems. OK rating time, PLOT: 10/10 I loved the rug pull, full me once shame on me... Theme: 10/10 flashback, unfortunately Character: 10/10 Zanka, you adorable failure you, you'll get em'... one of these days OST: 10/10 very, hmm, idk, beep boop? OverAll: 10/10 Although it was a flash back, I did kinda like it, because it subverted my expectation a whole lot, gold star for Gachiakuta ANY-WHO, I have a busy week comnig up, I hope all you all are doing great! | Oh nah they didn’t just do a fake-out with Zanka getting back up all badass-like right after his backstory reveal lol, they got me ngl. And to rub the salt in more, Jabber disrespected Zanka massively with that little dance he did (I like the emoting analogy some folks used lol), Zanka definitely didn’t deserve to be done that way, I can’t deny tho, that laughter near the end was infectious, I was just grinning the whole time despite the situation being messed up. And then off to feed Zanka to a trash beast Jabber goes, I’m hoping Zanka can either break out of the hallucination or be saved somehow, but we’ll have to wait and see how that goes. About Zanka’s backstory, I liked it, I think it took up a bit too much of the episode but I understand that it’s necessary, it was interesting seeing how he used to be the top dog at his old school but got humbled by a true badass, being Hyo, who reminds me quite a bit of Tamaki from Rock Lady based on her design. It’s unfortunate her arrival proved to mess Zanka up pretty bad, but looking at how he turned out today, really it was a good thing in the grand scheme of things, it makes me wonder where Hyo is today tho, I don’t wanna say she died but you never know in the world of Gachiakuta, hopefully we learn more about her sometime soon. Also, more Enjin imparting wisdom on folks, this time it was Zanka, looks like Riyo was with him already at that time too. |

| Great to see Zanka's backstory. I think a lot of people can relate to his feelings about those with natural talent vs those who have to work for it. I'm hoping we see a continuation of what happens with him and Ryo. Hoping he comes out of this alive, because I'm really liking his character. The dinosaur outfit girl is so cute, I hope she gets out of this OK. But whatever she stumbled upon was super creepy. It's as if it was a collection of trophies, taking the person's hands and weapon. |

| Amazing ep Literally a fresh breath of air cause I never thought we'd get Zanka's backstory at such a time like this. I was expecting a full blown fight. Hyo was quite interesting to say the least. While ik this class was full of lames, I never thought Zanka would become the lamest of the whole class. Interesting to see Enjin and Riyo there. This dude Jabber man, bro really made Zanka into a crackhead lol. Look at bros dance 😭 Oh they tripping fr. Someone stop them 😶🌫️🤪 Man wtf did that girl find? 10/10  |
