| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Though the woman disguise + toilets joke felt unnecessary, the first episode was overall good. Lots of funny thing like the professor 's superstrength under conditions or the simple-minded insectoid invaders joined by the plotting high-school student, a little war and treason plot with a mini-Death Star in the sky and a simple travel adventure story make me more interested than I already was. The insects queen looking perfectly human (and sexy) was another bad surprise (a king would have been far less human). 4/5 @mozgow In the bed? No, it isn't. | It's one of the most intriguing starts to "transferred into fantasy world" setting I've seen. My only complain right now is the animation quality, which is inconsistent. There are some really good parts, and there are some average ones. Is the girl at the end the one who sent them to El-Hazard? @Rei366 I know, I realized it while watching episode 2. |
