| i feel confused - they just dropped some eight elements ability out of nowhere? so they’re blood bending but only some of the people can use the elements and our mc happens to be one of them? this entire anime feels so generic and bland it’s not even funny. the mangaka should just stick to making art because what the hell even is this |

| The history behind the Children of Kishin, as well as the never-ending war between the Momotaro and Oni, as Samidare, Unit 21's Shinya Momoiwa and his rookie Hina Momota's discussion of the matter, with Shiki being one of the 8 Children overusing his normal Oni power against Tsubakiri and his Momotaro spirit, victory seems hard to grasp by. This is further exacerbated by Mei coming back, only to push Tsubakiri's narrative that her parents deserved the karma coming towards them. In the same way, Shiki's heart of a hero pushing against the Momotaros, it's the spark of hope that causes his elemental attribute to flare up as the flame-wielding Enki, which by that time, Shiki can't fully control his power going berserk, enforcing that Tsubakiri still has control over the situation to douse him with his gravity before Shiki could get any worse. The last spark coming from Mei's encouragement, and despite being empty, Shiki's blast going all-out against the Momotaros, it's an impossible one to avoid. For once, Shiki got the redemption that he needed after all this while. |

| Poor Mei, that was unnecessarily cruel. But in the end it all worked out! Do not understand how the white coat guy was able to monolog for a fatass minute while Shiki was just standing there with his full power lol |
