| God, the anime continues to just get better. I love how beautifully eerie it is. It keeps the audience in check and honestly the little surprises and level of detail is just so amazing I love replaying and just taking in every little detail that most wouldn't initially notice. The maid dresses? They're all so distinct from one another and it really gives the characters some depth (although it is told in the manga that it is purely just for entertainment purposes. Hence, Momono..) Speaking of Momono... fuck that bitch. And her bodyguard, Beniya.. HATE THEM SM. It actually almost like put me into psychosis watching the flooded hexagonal room scene. Such a good anime, I really hope they keep this up because from what I've read in the manga- it only gets better. And the outfits gets spicier. |
| High Stakes Games anime always have me on the edge of my seat. I'm only watching a few anime this season, but this one is really good. |
| This anime is looking amazing so far. I'm still worried that the mc keeps looking "flawless", very much like a mary sue, instead of exploring her past, motivations and fears. I hope there are also opportunities to enhance the worldbuilding and answer more questions about what causes these games. If the direction quality keeps up and my worries become futile, this might become one of my favorites |

And the outfits gets spicier. not to antagonise you, but why exactly do you hate Monomo and Beniya? Probably because one of them was tricked and put there without consent and is obviously very scared and panicky and the other one is an adult that noticed how shaken she is with the whole situation, most likely has a soft spot for her (they showed the scene of her escorting Momono to the bathroom for a reason) and handed her the keys that everyone was fighting for which was the actual reason why one died...and all of that goes over people's head You see, nuance is lost on a lot of people, things need to be spelled out and the scene clearly showed Beniya giving the keys to Momono and that makes them bitches ofc, if in the next ep they will save someone, they will suddenly be the MVPs I see this all the time, people are judging things strictly based on the exact moment something happens, not putting together context or character development That's just my observation and assumption ofc |

| This is one of those anime where they managed to make 20 minutes feel like 5 minutes, in a good way, without losing the suspense. I don't remember when was the last time I experienced this 😭 |
