| Amalgamation of Egyptian sphinx, possible Bronze age bull and an East Asian dragon. So is that a millennia old toilet or was it just left there by the previous archaeologists? I like how Aisha and Gene bond in this episode. Glad that creepy green haired rapist was defeated. |

| Great episode! I agree with Jim on how Gene has been pretty cold to Melfina lately. Like, what the hell is his problem? I understand you are frustrated for not being able to keep your promise, but at least show some care to Melfina. I knew that doctor did indeed made the XGP ship. He could have told them that early on instead of going into circles :\ Melfina singing the ED1 is beautiful! No more fillers! Let's go to the main plots! |

| Huh, reading the comments, it seems for some people episode 20 is entirely different. The episode 20 I watched featured Jim's first crush. This show is a little brutal for potential love interests. Two times now where I thought a fun relationship could develop, yet they both get fucking killed off lol. Especially Hilda's death, never have I been that salty of character dying so early in a show. Edit: Oh, I see. There are two special episodes, and I've already watched one them without knowing (ep 16). |

| At this point I feel like scoring this lower simply because the McDougall brothers are really boring villains. Also Melfina is pretty stupid to even think about going with the dude who slapped her and screamed at her if she doesn't do what he wants. |
| This was a great episode overall looks like the doc himself did develop the XGP ship though he could’ve just told them this information to begin with anyway but then we wouldn’t have a revelation right? Anyways I really adored Melfina’s singing in this episode, just her outside the ruins and literally singing the first ending theme of the anime. I mean it’s not necessarily the same lyrics seeing as I’m watching the dubbed version but the melody’s still the same across both versions. Otherwise it was a mesmerising performance from her. I did like the bonding that Aisha and Jim had in this episode that was really nice, even Aisha is a brash warrior, she really does value Jim as a friend especially the moment where she just tussles his hair was really nice. Especially after they just saw Gene asking Melfina if she wants to come with them once the planet is crumbling to bits. I’m definitely entering the homestretch of episodes right now. Once again great episode overall for me. |
