| Damn, this really sucks. He's a great director and had a really cool vision with his JJK adaptation, it's a shame he's leaving mid season. Hopefully they'll find a good replacement. I wonder how much this will impact the second cour, surely it's already been in the works for a while now, right? So it shouldn't feel to different I hope. |

| @babajeeds No, it has nothing to do with this. XD From what the information says, his contract with MAPPA has ended and he's moving somewhere else. I don't think he'll even be in any anime anymore, he's just moving to some French studio? we. will see |

God forbid 2 completely different mediums of entertainment be presented in different and unique ways, you want your iconic panels so badly the manga aint going anywhere. Anime adaptations would be so boring if they were just carbon copied from the manga with some color and voice acting thrown in. | @Tithain from what people have written, there are a lot of very good replacements to choose from, and the main director they're targeting is a guy who has worked extensively with and directed scenes with Gosso, so they have a similar style. If he's the replacement, there's probably nothing to worry about. This news kinda suck, but it's not the end of the world. JJK is a priority series for Mappa, so the quality certainly won't drop. The approach to some scenes may be slightly different, but not by much. |
