| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Woah what the hell did I just watch? It's like Matrix minus being inside the Matrix or something. Even the so called Resistance are part of it, much like Zion in the Matrix series. Too bad they probably won't live to accomplish anything when the ending credits rolled. Halfway through watching it, the revelations about the world they live keep piling up one after the other which was kinda exciting and depressing at the same time. I keep thinking, "Great what's next after that one? Aliens?" LOL 7/10 |

Grey acknowledges that being with someone that he cares about (Nova) is more important than fighting for a hollow dream, and forsaking himself in the process, a journey which Nova had already undergone in order to save him. It's a story about learning to fight against unnecessary blooshed and warfare, and I think that's more important than wether or not they actually succeed in destroying Big Mama. Ranks don't matter, becoming a citizen doesn't matter, they don't have anything to prove to anyone but each other anymore. Good OVA. 7/10, Has some pacing issues and funky exposition. that's an interesting way to put it, I guess I was too superficial while watching this expecting the usual outcome and negating the story's other plot points. thanks |

| so much wasted potential here.... it has a great setting but everything in the OVA was very dull, from characters, to pace, to design, the direction itself was mediocre and the soundtrack out of place most times... kinda sad because it looks like it could have been great, I hope the manga is better |
