| I hate Twilight because its just all so stupid-- The only reason why Stephanie Meyer wrote the book is because she feels the need publish her fantasies about sparkly vampires who stalk girls and climb trees. Now all of these people who read the books are getting so attatched to it they cry for hours and hours after reading the series because there isn't anymore to the story. Are you guys familiar with that crazymadam3575 chick or whatever on youtube? SHE'S INSANE! I think if Twilight never came out many more people would have a wife and kids and not be fat. | Twilight's so boring...why? 1.) when I first saw the book (the first one), man! it already looks like I'll have a REALLY bad time reading it! it's so thick! it's thicker than a dictionary, dude! 2.) the words are so deep in meaning...i wonder if stephenie meyer studied the entire dictionary! i have to have a dictionary with me when i read that damn book! 3.) the titles of all the books are weird....TWILIGHT???? NEW MOON???? ECLIPSE???? BREAKING DAWN???? [and the soon-to-be failure...] MIDNIGHT SUN????? is stephenie meyer the queen of the sky?? and what's all that got to do with vampires anyway??? and is there such a thing as "MIDNIGHT SUN"????? 4.) the books get thicker and thicker...i bet Midnight Sun would be a lot more thicker than all our dictionaries combined!!! 5.) Bella's an irritating airhead with nothing but love for vampires in her head...she's crazy, she should be in a mental hospital... 6.) jacob black is way too young for bella...even if they got together, eew... 7.) serious love stories like these are not my type...i don't know what some girls see in this horrible "so-called masterpiece" that appeals to them...i'm confused... |

| I did not fully comprehend how badly the fans where at my school until we a week ago. We had an assignment, where we had to write a story of our future in a certain format; and our "child" in the story had to have a symbolic name or whatever. So, my teacher pulls up some baby name site. And instead of letting some of us call out names for OUR story, she allowed every dumb ass chick in the class to scream a Twilight name. To make this worse, the "meanings" of the name were so OBVIOUS and CHEESY. Yet, every little loser who likes Twi-fail in that class, screeched over the GREATNESS of the names and writing. One girl went as far as saying S. Meyers was "a very deep author." I excused myself and went to fume in anger in the bathroom. And, it turns these girls into "NO OTHER BOOK COMPARES TO THIS!" kinda people. Where they say the LOVE to read, but the only book they pick up is fucking Twilight. To make me, and avid reader, even angrier was the fact that they pick on me for reading "Their Eyes are Watching God" rather than that shit. I read the first one. Boring characters, boring story, BORING. |

| I hate twilight for so many reasons but I'll try to resume because when I give my opinion about it, nobody can stop me. When I first read it, I expected a good book because everybody around me told me that it was "the best book ever!!§§" "a wonderful book" and "meyer writes sooo well ! you have to read it !" so a classmate lent me it. I finished it in two weeks. Firstly, the story isn't so extraordinary. It's just an impossible love story between an human and a vampire. (and everybody knows that they'll end up together) The characters : there is absolutely no development from the beginning to the end. Bella is just selfish : she's ready to sacrify her life, her family just to stay with her first love ! (I suppose he's the first because before living at forks, nobody noticed her "beauty") And she always said that "I'm ugly ! Edward doesn't deserve me ! But i want to stay with him !" She's unbearable and she doesn't deserve Jacob (in new moon) Then, Edward. A sparkly vampire. And he is "perfect". In the first book, I understood one thing : "My vampire is hot." Yeah. And she continues to say that in new moon. It'll be too long if I explain why I hate him. Otherwise, meyer can't write. She just adds pretty adjectives to describe her characters and people thinks that "it's a good style". The french translation is bad too. And she totally destroyed the vampire's legend (poor Dracula) I won't continue to explain~ Voilà ! Death to twilight ! |

| Well, I hate Twillight mostly because: a) Twitards. I generally hate all that is sacred for creepy-sweety-fangirls(fanboys)-who would-kill-if-someone-say-a-bad-word-of-their-idol. The same with Harry Potter, Tokyo Shmotel etc. Such people can mumbling for hours and you have no chance to say your opposite opinion. That's just annoying. b) Popularity. It may seem be the same as a), but it is wider. Popular things are usually kitschy and shallow. Same to Twillight. But I think not ordinary people choose bestsellers, but advertising managers and then people are likely 'OMG it's soo awesome!' (even if it's not). c) Main hero. Sweety perfect boy who is a vampire. Gratz, everything what teenager girls like nowadays. Just sorry for the vampires who scares in stories for ages, we don't need you anymore. Modern vampires should be pretty and they are for love. Not to scare. d) Plot. No comment. All teenagers only dreams about having boyfriend or girlfriend. There's no need for a good plot if it includes love. |

| Well for me... it started cause my friend recommend that book.. she said it was really good.... so i bought the whole twilight set... seriously i sometimes regret buying it.... mostly cause of the characters and the plot.... The main character Bella... ok i know she is the plain shy girl... and she kept going on and on how beautiful, wonderful and perfect Edward is..... and how vain she is when she turned into a vampire.... Another thing that i had it how Bella found out that Edward is a vampire.. is like no tension... at all... In the first book of the twilight saga series... I kinda like Edward personality cause of his mysterious aura.... but later turned out that he is such a obsessed over Bella.. not to mention stalked her...and sometimes treat her like a child... Seriously no character whatsoever developement.... Another thing I hate most is the vampire... sparkly vampire!! ~_~ it caught me off guard.. but later on i found it silly.... and one major is about VEGETARIAN No-FANG vampires...... the cullen dosent drink humans blood... but instead they drink wild animals blood.... oh come on... it sound so creepy.. totally ruining the classic vampire sucking human blood.... Last but not least is the plot... its like the whole series is about Bella love Edward.. Edward love Bella... not a totally indept story about vampires... just the ancient volturi family... ok... so far this is my most longest post ever..... that just my opinion....sorry people i just need to let out this fustration and dissapointment... arrghh... |

| Its ridiculous - the randy bitch screws a abusive vampire then gets pregnant (with the DEAD guys baby), then nicknames the baby after two different guys then gives birth, dies, comes back as a 'beautiful' vampire and lets her baby have an affair with a hairy werewolf. | Horrible characters development, poorly written story, not much creativity, lacking in logic, and it felt a bit robotish for scense of emotions. It was mostly boring to were I almost fell asleep, after that I just couldn't stand it anymore and stopped reading. As for movies, you'd think that seeing as the movies differ from the books they'd be better, nope. Plus 'stretches and yawns' the manga is no different (wrote a review already.). I feel so sorry for Alucard. A shame to what the vampire, werewovle world has befallen to. lol |

| I've never ever wanted to read this book series in the first place. My cousins (the girls), and my friends (guy and girls) were bugging the shit out of me to read this damn book. I must admit that what finally got me to read it was the mere mention of there being werewolves... biggest mistake of my life! It took 3 months for me to finish the first damn book and every time I wanted to scratch my eyes out and bang my head against a wall hoping that this shitty excuse of a storyline will disappear from my brain. Wtf vampires sparkle? Are you damn serious??!!! You're making sexy-badass vampires look like prissy-weakass vampires!! YOU'RE RUINING THEIR IMAGE AUTHOR!!!! tsk, and they only mentioned werewolves once -.- plus the sappy romance (not a fan) I did not read any of the other books as I did not want to torture myself with it again, nor waste precious minutes of my life reading a crap-ass story when I could be doing better things like playing video games OR actually reading a decent damn story where vampires burn in the damn sunlight! |

This piece of crap promotes shallow romance, stalking, controlling, being a jerk to impress women, wangst and playing around with people's feelings. Some guys believe that women want jerks and this book seems to confirm that 9/10 women infact do and it's because of this book. It is also poorly written, has numerous plot holes, shallow and 2D characters. I wouldn't even use this book as toilet paper, it just chafes your asshole and clogs the toilet. |
