| This thread is for fighters, sort of a continuation of the rpg thread. So ask, recommend, or talk amongst yourselves There's this really awesome fighter for PS3, 360, and PSP called BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, i don't don't think enough people know about it, you should really try it |

| Hmm...I'm not very into fighting games, but I've played a few, including Blazblue. It's fun cause it's a bit different when it comes to normal fighting games in storyline factors. |

| I haven't played much, but it's not a very hard game IMO. You can chain combos and even a begginer(or a spammer like me xP) can chain them. The interesting in the story mode, as it seems to have multiple endings, with a real one(almost working as a VN in that matter). I personally find it interesting. |
| Did I JUST HEAR BLAZBLUE 8D I love BlazBlue, mostly for its storyline (very.. hard to full understand... storyline) and Characters. Me being a huge fan of Jin Kisaragi (dispite him being a complete douchebag to basically everyone he comes into contact with). It's probably my favourite fighting game. I've played many like Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, Fate... Just something about BlazBlue exciting. It's basically a Visual Novel / Fighter. I wouldnt exactly say its easy to play. It depends on what characters your using in a fight. And your not a noob that likes spamming the same combo over and over again. It also depends on the difficulty you stick it on. Also unlike most fighters BlazBlue's online play is really good, the system works really well (mainly in the Player Match section) your in a lobby created by your or someone else, people randomly come in every so often and basically one person gets assigned to fight another while you may spectate and see how they fight, you dont have to fight the person your assigned though you can pass it up if the person is too "insane". |

| Well that definitely sounds interesting :) A fighting game with a great storyline is really unique so it might be worth checking it out :D So it's not easy to play? So I need to know what I'm doing, is that right? I'm not a good "fighter" so that'd be important to know xD |

You we're only stating your opinion, and I was the same when I first played it =3 I'm not that great at fighting games either. You should maybe when you first play it try using the charcaters in Training mode to see which one suits you best. Of course if you do each of thier storylines you will need to use them all (but you can practise with them first before hand). Jin is probably one of the easier characters to use. BUT his attacks arent very strong asides his "Ice Car", so you need to combo with him mostly and stop your opponent from moving as much as possible with his freezing abilities. *I use Jin not just because I like the way he fights, but I like his character the most* If you have too much difficulty you could wham it on "Beginner" mode for a while and get some practise at what your doing, if your stick of training mode, and still arent ready yet. Though you should try the four top stories first which are Ragna, Jin, Noel, and Rachel's. Rachel isnt too easy to use. But Ragna, Jin and Noel arent that bad. |

| I find Ragna a pain to combo with. (Funny how you use Ragna the Sol/Archer look alike *points at your image* ^___^). Jin is the easiest if you ask me. But you can be cheap with Noel and spam D. (Oh I forgot about DoA xD I've hardly played it) |
| Good observation, hadn't notice so xD. Never played with Jin, so I can't tell. Noel I simply link 2-3 commands over and over, seemed to work just fine lol. Of course, I dunno which difficulty was set to. Never played DoA, but if I had to choose, I'd pick Soul Calibur. |

Give Jin a try ^_^ and you'll see what I mean :D Why not amuse me and play Arcade Mode on the HELL Difficulty, trying out what you do :D ....okay yeah I didnt use Jin when I first did it (SPAM C WITH HAKUMEN~) but I did it for a friend and used Jin the whole time =3 it was much easier. It also amused me when my friend fought Arakune on HELL as Ragna and couldnt do anything, so I went as Jin and beat him my first time :D And I would pick also Soul Calibur too because :D It has Nightmare (SOOOOUULS~) ^_^ *And i'm good at noticing these things :D* No problem. If its something I love I will talk about it for as long as need be ^__^ Good thing this wasnt a Tales Series Game. Or you probably would have wanted me dead xD |

I have it for Xbox ;_; sorry~ But everyone is complaining at me (all my online friends) to get it for PS3, so I might rent it with my epic online rental service for a while :D So we could play then~ OMG NU O_O................ are you actually good as Nu D: *terrified* Also Archie, every character has thier best way of fighting, Jin is a weak but fast combo character. What you want with him is to combine speed and his Drive attacks which freeze the opponent where they stand :D No spamming okay~ |

I have got so many people into BlazBlue simply by showing them how epic it is xD People usually like it for Jin, Ragna or Nu (V-13). But what intrests people most is that its a Fighter with a storyline (a proper storyline) and the fact that its anime based :D |

| well, since we´re already at it. BLAZ BLUE NUUUUUU "KIDOU,KIDOU,KIDOU,KIDOU,NISKI!" Fear the cyber swords of doom... Back to topic again: I heard they announced a PC version, where it is even possible to fight together with players from xbox live. But I don´t have any further information bout that, sry. And bout MvC 3: Sounds interesting. Not one of the really balanced games, but really enjoyable. |

| Well i guess i was the only one excited about MVC3 I agree that its not very well balanced but its still incredibly fun back in the days come to think of it guess it was the cast that got me excited, i mean their bringing Chris Redfield to the roster, they should so bring Dante or even Nero in to it but i just dream on for now :) |

| Well you can download the Arcade of BlazBlue: Contiuum Shift online, though making it work wont be as easy as just pressing play, I figured it out :D just my laptop sucks so damn much it plays at the speed of paint drying. So yeah I cant play it *cries in corner* but its still there! And its in japanese ;_; but then again you get. Jin Kisaragi: "ARRRRRRGHHHH! NIIIIIII-SAAAAAAAANNN! TANISHIMIYAO!!" (or something around those lines :D) Basically thats translated as, "ARRRRRRGHHHH! BRRRROOOOOOTHER! THIS IS NO FUN AT ALL!! *I think =3* I felt it was nessasary. | Not sure, I wonder if that would be balanced o.o? I mean, Dante just beats the hell out of demons, but what if it's another player, will it be who attacks first wins xD? If they reach a good balance out of it, it'd be awesome :]. Btw, do you mean a VS mode as in the game or a game that is like a DMC arcade? |
| I actually meant it as in the game. Of course they had to balance it out a bit, but I think it could becomre really good. In DMC4 for example, I really liked those fights Nero vs Dante. So if they introduce some more playables (Lady, Trish, that girl from the second), they could make a small vs-mode. Let´s say like an extra u can get for an achievement. |
