| Definitely the GitS anime (more specifically, the SAC series/movies), for its look at cyborgization and the total absorption of human minds in the net and what social, economical and ecological consequences that has. The Manga is great too, but having seen/read both, I prefer the anime. Second best would probably be Appleseed (Manga). Mmm Landmates... |

| This seems to be a pretty unanimous vote. GitS, of course, is my pick for both manga and anime, with Appleseed in close second. I do wish that they would bring his other minor works to the US, as well as that new Black Magic manga they released in Japan. |

| Dominion for me. Not really the most complex, but I enjoyed the most. I might change to the Appleseed manga once I'm finished since volume two showed a lot of promise compared to volume one. |
