| Pretty much what the title says; what are your thoughts on the new list designs? Do you prefer the "classic" designs or do you like the new "modern" designs? Maybe you have a custom design that you put together yourself and will continue to use because you don't like either the classic or modern designs? I'm honestly just curious to see the reasoning behind everyone's opinions. I'll go ahead and get us started. I like both the classic and modern designs because I like how easy they are to read and I also like how simplistic they are while also allowing for a decent amount of customization depending on how much time and effort you're willing to put into it. I know some people with designs that don't even look like they belong on the site because they don't look anything like the rest of the MAL website. I also know people (like myself) who aren't smart enough to put together some amazing custom list design like those other people do. It's almost like being on MySpace again in a way. Some people have these super flashy pages that take forever to load while others just like having a simple design that doesn't take forever to load and is easy to view/read yet still feels like it fits your own unique style. I'm currently using one of the modern themes because I thought it'd be nice to switch it up for a little while and see if I can get used to it or not. I know there will definitely be some amazing custom designs to come out of the new templates and I can't wait to see how those ones turn out. That's just me though. Now it's your turn to share your own thoughts (if you want to, of course). |

| The new one is pretty good, but I still like my custom one with large images :) Some people use my list to find dubbed anime, so its good to have big images that people can see. |
