| Just what the title says. Are you looking forward to this one, MAL? I was a huge fan of Tatami Galaxy (and practically everything else Yuasa's ever done), so I don't think it's possible for me to be any more hyped than I am right now. Please discuss your respective levels of hype. |

| I don't know anything about the novel, but this has classic Yuasa all over it. I'm especially excited about seeing recurring characters (The Master and Ozu) or at least look-alikes from Tatami Galaxy as though it's the same universe. Even the MC looks (and acts) a lot like Watashi. I'm so hyped for this I can't contain it. |

| Well it is a yuasa project so that is reason alone to be hyped I am just a little worried if the similar character designs from tatami galaxy if yuasa starts to rehashing the concepts from his previous works I also kind of love how all his works have a variety in character designs that really enhance the concepts of the show he is working so i am not sure how that will work here |

| Hype generally is not healthy so I try to avoid it if possible but considering what we have here: Masaki Yuuasa, Yuusuke Nakamura, Asian Kung-Fu Generation? Well, There is nothing I can do to contain my hype, isn't there?. I am not familiar with the novel and the author so I cant really tell, but I saw some characters from Tatami Galaxy there in the PV. Is there any relation of this movie with Tatami Galaxy? |

| Interesting. It means somewhere within this movie, there exist Akashi and Watashi dealing with their own problems. I assume all those recurring characters from Tatami Galaxy would have little role and significance in advancing the story in this movie apart from just being cameos. But well, that's enough of me speculating, better behold the movie myself and let all the curiosities and questions be unfolded as I am watching. |

| I saw this last night here in the UK. I've only seen like a few minutes of Tatami Galaxy a few years back, so I was only slightly familiar with Masaaki's style. I thought it was incredible! Funny and heartfelt. Kana Hanazawa did a great job here. I honestly don't understand why this isn't more popular! I'm so glad I watched it, def checking out Tatami Galaxy now. |
