| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So, the hostel is a literal trash heap of a place where guys come to have sex, surrounded by love hotels and with a shady business on floor 2(maybe drug dealing?). And, one of Tatsuhiko's two roomates first move was to drop kick him on sight. This is going to be a handful isn't it. At least Yousuke seems nice, nice people are rare in this manga outside of Tatsuhiko and Yuka. Although I admit I'm making that judgement far too soon. It seems like Seki uses this room quite often due to Yousuke's line about "Seki sex time" and the rituals surrounding it... So, we'll probably be seeing more of him. I think something notable to bring up is how in chapter 9 we saw him beating the snot out of some people and how Yousuke was shocked to see Tatsuhiko challenge Seki and further to get away with it. It makes me think he does like him. I believe Seki's words too, although last time I did it came back to burn me they make sense. Plus, I feel he really did like the fierce and stubborn spirit he saw in Tatsuhiko when they fought together, so if Tatsuhiko pulls his weight perhaps one day Seki will step in to stand up for Tatsuhiko like he did for Seki. I also think the speed in which Tatsuhiko accepted that may mean he put some thought to it too. We do know Seki didn't like the practices the boss put him up to! And lastly, we learned about some advancements in Burst that occured over the last 2 weeks that we skipped through. The absorption of Harem didn't work out, Harem's former employee's and possibly the former Harem higher ups don't agree with the way Burst is ran or are rebelling for other reasons and it's causing doubt on the boss's decision making from Burst's employee's themselves. I like how we started with exploring Mako and Tatsuhiko and what the shady nightlife business really does and how it flawlessly transitioned into exploring the higher-ups after the Yuka encounter and the politics that go on there, and how it's gone back to its more comedic roots to explore some of the equal characters to Tatsuhiko now instead of mostly superiors. I wonder what the next plot beat will be! |
