DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- they breeze by the first 3 matches, woulda think Samson Oak would show something since he's an Oak but then again he's pretty much comic relief Lana vs Mallow was quite something. Lana winning made sense bc shes the better trainer but they sure build things up making you believe Mallow could pull it off Team Rocket battle next week!! |
| Guzmas fights the only irrelevant battle the alola league has to offer.Kanga v Scizor was a good fight. How did Mao and Lana make it to the top. Maos tatics are so bad. I can't watch no more ,so unrealistic like just solor beam or razor leaf. Alolan trainers are v weak. I'm surprised so many viewers showed up to watch them. I'm just waiting for Ash v Guzma /or/ Ash v Gladio. now that's hype. Wonder when he'll use his 10000 volt thunderbolt z move. |
| GOOD JOB, MY SON. You beat the pun master and looked absolutely friggen cute while doing it! ;o;; Praise Hau! Lord knows this show has been favoring Suiren a lot, so I expected her to win, but Mao is definitely a favorite of mine. <3 But also lol she sure was sounding like Hau for a second there with that "That was fun, but losing is frustrating too". I guess I have a type. :U I can't keep adopting all these kids though so... Look, I get you, but I think it's the novelty for Alola. It's a new thing in the region and it's not like a whoooole bunch goes on for most of the islands. It's pretty laid-back unless you're 11 years old and want to take the trials and stuff-- and Battle Royale. Anything else is like a Pokemon carrying a stack of pancakes race, food contest, or whatever other bug-racing there is. For Alola, this is probably one of the most exciting things since... since whenever. And one of the only threats on the island is Team Skull, yet the grunts don't actually seem all that competent. Heck, even Team Rocket seems to stomp them pretty easily. |
| The episode didn't waste any time into starting the battles, and they were pretty nice too, even if a bit short. Sauboh cheated and chose Satoshi's pokémon for him, but it didn't work out as he planned, poor Sleeper. lol Guzma's battle against Ilima was cool, but it's kind of a pity that he found a 'weak point' in Mega Garura so soon though. Then Hau against Ookido, I loved to see his Alolan Raichu again. He managed to use the same pokémon twice in a row like Satoshi wanted to, and he won. Hala seemed really proud of his grandson too. Then the most important one of the episode: Mao vs Suiren. It was sad to see Mao ready to give up like that. It wouldn't be fair to Amajo, Suiren, Ashirene or even to Mao herself. So I'm glad that Suiren and Amajo somehow managed to awake the fire in her soul, and that she decided to fight for real, and even used her Z-Move. A pity she lost as expected, but at least she didn't give up. |

| This episode demostrated that is a nice change that everyone in the alola league are acquaintances compared to the XYZ's first rounds where Ash just one-shot his random opponents until he face his rivals. Amazed the way Guzma defeated Mega Kangaskhan. See Wobbuffet in action in the preview gives me alot nostalgia, looking foward the next week. |
| First and only time Mega Kangaskhan will be worse than the normal form, Guzma's strat was great and abussed the fact that the kid was fighting too. He's still a fucking noob for using X-Scissor over Bug Bite on Scissor tho, what a waste of Technician. |

WTF is bitch doing? Surrendering? This how they do it in Alola? Amajo got more balls than her. Dat OP insert song. Suiren wins. Good. You saw when Mao was going to quit then. Dat trip. Ilima was just using Grow Punch spam. WTF was Mao thinking? That's the type of stuff they do in Alola? Quit? smh Suiren is me telling Mao not to be a pussy ass quitter. |
