| OHH NOO...the CGI bear is gone...WHEHH!? Fighting off bears as monsters, what realism. Lots of funny moments as usual, but the assassins having that weird relationship broke me, that's just too funny. This'll be the final OVA. Awaiting Season 3 in the future! |

| Never expected to see a gay yakuza couple dying because of bears while one of them took the anal virginity of one of the bears with a sword, and sugimoto going to skin the legs of that guy "It's skinning time" |

| No more CGI bears, that episode was pretty good though lmao. It was also really hilarious, so there are also some that has the tattoos on their lower half. RIP to the 2 yakuza's respecc, can't wait for season 3 only a few more weeks. |

| Absolutely an insane episode. Its continued their antic where they used it in seas otter meat episode. The vibes were real and even got too crazy. I don't know how to react with that. Because its just, too on point, and ended up with a dark matter. Well, rip then! Started off the story for paying back off the Asirpa's great aunt garment, but ended up seeing a gay yakuza dying and Sugimoto skinned his leg off, just, outstanding. This is your Golden Kamuy eccentricsm that always hold on their golden way of humour. Oh, my pure soul got poisoned. XD I give this at 9/10 again. Because no bad CGI bear again, the dark humour really went too far, action packed with Sugimoto the immortal just stunned me, Asirpa's in action again regain my satisfaction, finally, and more importantly, they brought back my lovely ending theme song at their end. Absolutely great. I love this shit. Eventhough i feel bad with the last bear. Oh, well! I guess its save for me that i am ready to visit the next season in October. Let see .... |

| Holy shit this episode got me laughing so hard and then the feels hit me in the end... The hand holding and the heart clouds were so perfect with the OST. I really respect Golden Kamuy for representing gay guys like this so much! No anime dares even approach the topic, and yet here they do it so realistically incorporated in the story themes. 9/10. Can't wait for the third episode. |

| So for a long time I thought I had seen this OVA because I had it marked on MAL that I watched it, well turns out I haven’t because I don’t remember any of this lol, not sure why I had it marked that I watched two of the OVAs in this set but at least I know now. And honestly this was one of the best episodes of the show so it’s a shame it’s contained in the OVAs, I’m a huge Golden Kamuy fan and I haven’t even seen it until now, but better late than never I suppose lol. They even dealt with a tattoo’d prisoner in this episode which I would say is pretty important even if the story itself is skippable, but I get that they had to cut content where necessary to reach the Abashiri Prison arc to end Season 2 with. But yeah this episode was loads of fun, so all this stuff with the red haired brown bears (they weren’t CGI for once!) went down because Asirpa wanted to get back what’s essentially a wedding outfit from an American collector named Eddie, and to get it they had to hunt an “immortal” bear, which turned out to be three after the reveals, but I figured it had to be multiple bears before that from the info we were given. And not only did the gang have to deal with three bears, there was also a gay yakuza couple (the boss being the prisoner) that were out to get Kiroranke for what he did way back at the end of Season 1 at the race track, honestly the gay love story did make for some good and funny moments so I can appreciate it being there, especially the final battle with the bear at the end of the episode, that boss was pretty badass so it’s a shame he died after that, I’m pretty sure other Golden Kamuy characters have survived worse but it did make for a good end to the yakuza guys’ story, and the gang scooped up a tattoo’d skin in the process. Also, cool to see a car in Golden Kamuy for the first time with a direct reference to Henry Ford, I didn’t think about it before this but yeah I guess cars wouldn’t be widespread at this time yet, so cool bit of history in this one to go along with the intense/silly fight with the bears. |
