| *Sigh* I was hoping that we would be nearing the end and maybe we are, but that last page feel like contrived drama for the sole purpose of prolonging the inevitable. I understand that Kaoru is in a vulnerable state, she's obviously not happy with her marriage and with Uta leaving, she is alone in trying to deal with these issues, but having a baby NOW is bad decision making 101. I also don't like how the series is attempting to paint Reiichi. I'm not talking about the cheating aspect because that is valid, but tMnR makes it seem like it's Reiichi's fault that he's aloof, he's likely always been that way and now it seems like Kaoru takes issue with it. I don't know what it'll take for Kaoru to directly confront her issues, but I sincerely hope that Uta is not dragged back into this mess, she is one of the few mature characters in the series and I don't want Kaoru to taint her. Everyone except Kuroe and Miyabi are probably better left off single lol. |
