DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- pretty good episode actually I'm glad Goh is getting better with pokemon battling since it's more satisfying than catching a pokemon without doing anything, Riolu and Ash are in much better condition too and can't wait for next episode sun and moon anime is one of the best series so really excited for this reunion. |

| I really like Ash and Gou as a pair. They remind me so much of Ash and Dawn where both of them learn from each other. So I guess both of them have their own dragon-types now and they're going to Alola next episode. Can't wait. |

| Ash dejected and Gou in full leadership in this episode, the way he defeated Flygon was great and seems to be a reference to Ash vs Grant in XY. Next week, return to Alola <3, and Kiawe vs Gou :D ... |

| That Flygon was at a 50+ lvl, slumping satoshi got me heated espicially losing so fast to those pokemon & he got pikachu... I got super excited by next weeks preview |

| honestly, Ash dropping a rank is needed to prolong this series...just didnt think it’ll happen in two meaningless battles in a row. i like the role reversal with Goh to wake Ash up from his slump i cant wait to see the Alola gang back next week |
| Wow this was very good in terms of character development! :D Goh being supportive to Ash is a nice moment of trainers growing together. We rarely see him battling after all :P Omg Alolan friends are back for next week! Looking forward to it! :D |

| Ash does realize that there is other Pokemon he has BESIDES Riolu? Along with different moves he could use?! Like seriously, no wonder you're losing 3 times in a row, you're using the same strategy over and over and over again, and expecting it to work every time, when there will be situations that it won't work. I swear he has a Gengar and Dragonite that he could've used for those battles, but he won't cause Riolu wants to fight every single battle. |

That's exactly what he learned this episode and that's the point. Also, it's not like he knows what Mons the other Trainer is going to use. It was just a bad streak which happens to competitive players when their strat stops working. Also, What would be the point of cheesing with Gengar or Dragonite? He's been raising his Riolu for a long time now and wants him to get strong. Using Dragonite or Gengar to cheese rank would just backfire, eventually he'll reach a brick wall and the fall will be worse. It's like cheesing and bragging that you're good by defeating a weak Pokemon with an overleveled one, and then getting your ass rekt for getting cocky. |

| okay what the heck. they be traveling regions like its nothing. also Gous 1shot captures hacks are annoying. Gou actually worked for Flygon. that was nice. Also his Strategy was op as well and ash... They really did ash dirty in this ep. these writers are terrible xL since when does flyon have an ability to hypnotize people. and where are the cops at, the champion ect. seems like ash and gou are the only people who could do anything about that big sandstorm in hoenn and they're not even from there. The professor observed that sandstorm from kanto? what about professor birch and his son brendon. gahh lol rip i know im not the only one who feels like this. this ep was okay. |

| it was really annoying to see satoshi fight like that this ep cause the best things about his battles is all the risks he takes to win the battle and then comes go and he ends up fighting like satoshi lol nonetheless nice ep but now really looking forward to the next ep him going back to alola should be really fun |

| combination of mystery and ash developing, great ep. really glad for ash to have "restarts" like this, in other series he would just lose once a gym badge, and the next battle he wins, just showing how much the writers for pokemon had changed for the best. (they probably aren't the same writers for SM with the stupid power ranger thingy). goh helping and lecturing ash was nice touch too, goh easily becoming better and better ash best companion. |
