| Volume 7, Chapter 5: Looks like I was mistaken in my comment from the last chapter. Most of the Federation Army was destroyed. It's a tonal whiplash, so now I just chalk up the issue to an awkward bit of writing. Mary Sue is an interesting character, but she always wears out her welcome in whatever scene she is in. She is such an unreasonable character that she drags on in the conversation. What makes her interesting is that she actually looks to be a threat for Tanya, though I feel part of that is due to the movie deviating from the novels and having an outstanding fight between Tanya and Mary. |
