| Dan's backstory was the first one to make me cry, man, I felt that one. It seems like Dan developed an Oedipus complex after losing the mother he loved so deeply in such a traumatic way. The chapter makes this super clear when he sees his mother in Hye-Ryung's presence. To be honest, I didn't expect them to have this kind of relationship. I just hope she's not exploiting his lack of affection to use him for her own agenda. I want to believe she loves him too. |
