I love, Love <3 LOVE this. The cg is so competent and detailed. If we truly will get a remake with this much afford (ans Evangelion money from the Hubby) I will eat it up like the 5 star meal it is. |

| At first, I was surprised and lowkey disappointed when I saw that it was in CG— usually CG anime is a hit or miss (mostly a miss since it's always so awkwardly animated and looks like a half-assed MMD). BUT!!! The last few CG anime we've gotten HAVE proven pretty gosh darn AMAZING (like Girls Band Cry for example!), so it seems like the new Sugar Sugar Rune adaptation is also taking on that challenge!!! Tho just to be clear, I'm not totally sure if the reboot is gonna fully be CG or if the CG is only for this 20th anniversary special (can anyone clarify that for me please?). But if it IS going to be fully CG, then we're already on the right track! For starters, I like how they stayed true to adapting the original style of Sugar Sugar Rune in 3D!!! The eyes, the details, the elegance and sparkles— it's all so, SO true to the original anime!! If not cleaner and more updated too!!! AND THE ANIMATION FLUIDITY!!!! IT'S SO GOOODDDDDDD!!! And some of the effects (such as the smoke and clouds) looking like it's animated in 2D is just *chef's kiss*. I know it may be too wishful of me, but if this production ends up being anything like the animation of Kpop Demon Hunters and the Spider-verse trilogy (a mix of 3D and 2D), then I'll absolutely be on cloud nine throughout the whole thing haha!!! Please don't mind my ramblings, Sugar Sugar Rune is an anime I hold dear to my heart— I watched it all throughout primary school and was the start of my anime infatuation even before I knew what anime was 😭💕 |

Ik why, well first its kinda not popular, second if i remember our soft generation are not ready for "possible" age gap crap. If i remember correctly idk. But i do remember i enjoyed and had good laugh. Maison ikkoku would be awesome or Marmalade boy or smt like that too.
