| “That’s the end of summer” 😩 luckily irl we have about half of it left, but there’s nothing that says summer in anime like a good old fashioned fireworks show and festival. Our furry companion and Fuji getting to watch them together is soo cute. Also love how Fuji made sure to invite her new little sister in Kii! She and Fuji looked so cute in their Yukata and Fuji’s parents looked like proud grandparents! This was such a soothing episode as usual and that beautiful firework display at the end.. perfect. I think this episode kinda hints that the tanuki might be a deity of some sorts tho because the shrine glowed when he went near it. I feel like maybe he’s meant to bring Fuji closer to someone or help her find a partner. Would pay off the question he asked earlier about whether fuji was still content being alone Also I just found out Kii is voiced by an actual child actress. She’s doing an amazing job! |

| My heart melted and I almost cried watching how wholesome and beautiful this episode is. Though My soul was almost gone when "Angel-chan" went suddenly missing. This episode truly moved me.  |

Anyone notice the small shrine that's probably built for him? I think her little doggie has some sort of mysticism around him because he was glowing heading towards a shrine that could be his.  I theorize that the Tanuki dog's role is to find her a mate or help her overcome being such a loner. |

| I missed the rain in this series. It's such a vibe. But missing the bus in the rain sucks xD Today's episode had plenty of adorable You moments again. Like the part with the rubber ducky and him being scared. The festival was nice too, especially the fireworks at the end. This anime hasn't missed so far. |

| This anime were such a mood and a cozy highlight of the season, if it didn't force that kind of idiotic humor that Fuji's dad and his irritating behaviour represents. Seriously why? What is its point? Is that supposed to be funny? Why are they ruining the atmosphere which is the greatest asset of this anime? It brings into my mind an other series March Comes in Like a Lion which did exactly the same thing and had made an otherwise outstanding story outright unwatchable from time to time. |

| Just out of curiosity for those who might not know Tanukis are often depicted with a leaf on their head because it's believed to be a source of their youkai ability to transform into other beings or objects like you may have seen in eccentric family. |

| Gorgeous animation in this series as per usual. The mood across that episode is all over the place, went from the melancholy and frustration of getting caught in a sudden rainstorm to the Tanuki playing with rubber ducks to Fuji searching a shrine desperately searching for her runaway pupper. Adorable and pure visual poetry. |

| Even more comfy than the last episode. I'm not gonna lie, I felt like I was gonna cry when You and Fuji were watching the fireworks together. It was such a beautiful and wholesome moment that I almost teared up. Those fireworks were so nice to watch and especially with that OST playing in the background, it just made that scene even better. 5/5 |
