| Teoritta is like a talking shadow next to Xylo. Got some story lore and world lore. Patausche still treats Xylo with a cold shoulder and tells him to just focus on the mission. He definitely handled that better than I had thought. However, this episode also showed the harsh reality of their world. There's just way too much death and danger, even that deep in the mines. Also curious to see more of Patausche as she seems to have a complex personality in this show. |

| A terrorist and… whatever Tatsuya is. You know, I’m starting to get why people are so racist toward heroes now. Tatsuya alone would justify it for me, ngl. Anyway yeah, new episode, new mission, and this time it’s nothing more than an obvious trap to capture Teoritta. Glad Xylo caught on to that quickly. Even that bitch, I mean, the knight from last episode who should’ve stayed dead is back to her usual antics. Honestly though, Xylo has to stop being such a goody two-shoes and should’ve let Terrorist-kun “accidentally” kill them lol. So yeah, Xylo comes to this girl’s rescue once again, in the badass way he always does. Xylo's time again here, let's see him put these annoying pricks in their place hopefully. |

Idk I feel very bored when there's not an action sequence going on, production is fantastic but I don't really care about the characters nor plot so far and was hoping it would get a bit more fleshed out.

| Very interesting worldbuilding, the art is also the same as in ep 1 it reminds me a very little bit about some ghibli sceneries. I knew the Hero-group-members would be a bit special haha i like that Yeah but FUCK this loli.. |

| Idk how the vote count is how it is, but this episode made me feel more reassured about the quality of this series going forward, both in terms of aesthetic quality and storytelling direction. Apparently from what I was told by others, Xylo's personality in the LN was a lot more tame and even cheerful which imho doesn't really abide as well with the kind of situation he's in as a veteran penal hero, so I'd say it's a step-up on the anime's part to express a version more befitting and accurate; even if it's supposedly a bit overdone, it at least makes more sense logically and from a perspective in tonal consistency. |

| We've barely met Norgalle and "His Highness" and all his chuunibyou antics are already the best thing ever. The fact his kingly majesty even got Kivia to flinch is gold lmao. Wonder what the Xylo groan count will be by the end of this. |
| Yeah, this episode was kind of meh for me. Action was solid but didn't have that much going on, was more focused on some world building and focusing more on other people working with Xylo and Teoritta, as well as Teoritta wanting to be more useful to Xylo. The animation wasn't episode 1 levels but the production was still really good for a more standard episode that I am expecting for most of the season. Liked the music too as a whole. Just wish the characters weren't dull to watch besides Teoritta trying to make up for the charisma in the series in some ways. Early Temu Eris vibes with how much they went ham on the scenes to make her charming in a bit of a forced way right from the get-go but if there's some real character development and progression there, I would be seated then. The pacing wasn't necessarily bad, but this didn't have me feeling much for it. Hopefully the intensity of the story can pick up more next week. |
| Sorry....but did that moth just willfully fly into the fire and burn itself alive? Besides that another banging episode, glad they could keep the quality from the first episode rolling through. Seems like the heroes are a fun band of misfits and crazies, with them all being pretty solid in their respective fields of fighting or soulseal making...and whatever the white hair guy does. Altought I feel like the heroes do everything and those holy knights are pathetic fodder, besides the captain. Like Tatsuya and Xylo would wipe the floor with them easily. Just hope that Teoritta gets some praise from edgelord Xylo in the coming episodes for her hard efforts :?  Can't lie her moments of cuteness does ligthen the mood of this grim anime :D |

| So Temu Esdeath just might have a conscience. The fake king and PTSD Guy are also kind of cool. If only Territorial could STFU for five seconds, we'd be golden. I'm assuming Xylo's reaction is meant to be the same as ours. Moving right along to the next fight. |

| I noticed that a lot of the times when a character delivers an attack, the camera cuts to a shot of the faeries being killed by the attack. There's not a lot of animation in those shots other than the visual effects of the attacks, which is a little underwhelming. Maybe they're saving the budget for the bigger fights but there's noticeable steps down in production quality from the premier episode. |

| Teoritta's adorable. More headpats! Very little exposition so far and just buildup for more action again. I'm quite interested in the world building but not much so far and only bits and pieces. I'm curious how that guy built that machine. We know very little about the artifact type system so far. We get to directly see what happens to the heroes eventually. Even though they can be ressurected they ultimately end up like a mindless freak. Also the blonde guy is a nutcase lol. |

| It was worth the wait. I wouldn't expect much from a set up episode but it was great. The animation remains amazing and I love this artstyle with almost no shadows. I like these new characters. |
| After the insane 1-hour first episode, how do I feel? I STILL LOVE IT! Enjoying Episode 2 wholeheartedly. Amazing score, lovely insert song, surprisingly still well-animated too! As expected, this keeps giving me the more and more Tate no Yuusha S1 vibe. Still not seeing the anime going to share the same fate as Ninja Kamui, so in Studio KAI and Hiroyuki Takashima we trust. |
| Another absolutely incredible episode, they didn’t miss a beat transitioning from that hour long episode to this. One of the animators on twitter said to be respectful if there’s a quality drop off, but this was still an amazing looking episode. The animation definitely picked up in the second half when even the talking and walking animation became so fluid, but the art is great throughout. Was nice to get introduced to Xylo’s group of rejects, has to be a funny feeling going from being in charge of knights to in charge of mentally unstable people like this lmao. It would be so funny if the “King” actually ends up being the real king of the country. Given we know xylo was framed, imagine they set him up. The whole reincarnation madness thing is definitely going to come into play at some point here, Xylo will likely die and lose some of his memories. They keep bringing it up too much and even one of their party members has it. Respect to Xylo for pushing deeper in the tunnels I can’t wait to see how this goes next week! |

| I find it funny how useless the holy knights look compared to the very same heroes that they look down upon. The heroes get these bad ass magic weapons while the holy knights are left with regular spears lol. |
